I recently had the pleasure of visiting Truleigh Scrumptious Sweet Cafe in Mt Juliet, TN, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. First off, the parking situation is better than I thought it'd be. It's conveniently located near Dunkin Donuts and Jeremiahs Italian Ice. If you make the mistake like me I pulled I where Dunkin and Jeremiahs is . Fortunately the parking lots are connected and you can drive within the lots to get to Truleigh. However, they have their own entry/exit off Mt Juliet Rd.
One of the standout surprises is their pricing! In comparison to some of the other restaurants in the area, their prices are incredibly reasonable. You'd pay double at the likes of Panera Bread or a chain as such.
But what truly sets Truleigh Scrumptious Sweet Cafe apart is their delicious menu. I tried their Buffalo chicken grilled cheese, and it was amazing! They offer a wide array of options to cater to various tastes. Whether you're into savory or sweet, they have something for everyone.
If that's not enough, they also specialize in custom cakes. Whether it's for a special occasion or just to satisfy your sweet tooth, they are the place to go to. Their faith, and family stories are sprinkled throughout their wall art and food, which makes it even more special.
Great parking, fantastic prices, and a mouthwatering menu that includes unique items like the Buffalo chicken grilled cheese, BLTs and tres leches. I highly recommend...
Read moreAs residents of Mt. Juliet we had put off trying this place for far too long. March 30th was the day we decided to check it out.
A cozy, establishment, not tons of room for inside seating. Please don’t let that detract from how great this place is.
I had no idea they served more than just sweets. They had some really good savory offerings as well.
I decided on a grilled buffalo chicken and cheese sandwich and a mini peanut butter pie.
The sandwich was grilled to perfection. Not too greasy and just delicious. The peanut butter pie was as good as it sounds, being mini allows you enjoy a delicious treat without being overwhelmed with sweet.
Now on our radar we are going to make this a more frequent...
Read moreI was really looking forward to popping in here. I will again, but they do have some "new restaurant" bugs to work out.
I asked 3 or 4 questions. Lady behind the counter didn't seem to know any of the answers, nor did she tried to get any answers.
It's a tiny place, but about 4 staff. They seemed to be on top of each other due to small area behind counter.
One lady did get me an answer to one of my questions. I appreciated it.
The main lady seemed stressed. It could have been her 1st day.
Again, I'll let some time pass and try it again...
