Rivertowne Public House — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

Well I should have known it was not going to go well when I called to place a takeout order and the woman didn't even know what was on the menu and had to go check. I got there waited for 10 minutes at the front door until someone finally came over and then told me I was standing in the wrong place for a takeout order not that there were any signs or anything. She told me I needed to go wait for the bartender who wasn't there but she'd be back eventually. The bartender came back she filled a couple drinks finally came over to me and said can I help you I said I have a takeout order. You shouldn't say anything other than printing out the receipt and asking for my credit card. 15 minutes later somebody else came out and dropped off the bag on the other side of the bar and I sat there for another 10 minutes waiting for her to realize that the food had been delivered because I could not find anybody else to ask. So 20 minutes after it was supposed to be ready I finally get my food we get home and of course the order was wrong. They will only get one star if the food wasn't actually good but I do not...

Come here a lot with my family because it's very chill and the servers are friendly. They have solid burgers, decent pizza, and a great bar.

The service for our last dinner was not great. We had a new server who was very nice and polite but completely overwhelmed.

There was a head server who was bringing food out from kitchen. There were three of us and only two of our entrees came out and with the appetizer. The food was swiftly dropped off without eye contact and when we went to ask where the third dinner was she ran off. We couldn't get ahold of anyone for close to ten minutes and then when we did the missing entree had to be reordered.

The rest of the table waited so we had cold dinners. Our server did apologize and had the late entree taken off of the bill.

I'm really disappointed because we love this place. I don't place blame solely on our server. There needs to better management of getting the meals out and not bringing the appetizers with dinner, and asking the customers as soon as food is placed if there is anything...

Heard great stuff about this place so took the family and was blown away! The food is absolutely delicious and this came from everyone at the table, including a picky one year old and 4 year old! The pizza is wonderful and very well might be my new favorite in all of Mt Pleasant. The salmon was fresh, cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly! The salad was dynamite, the burgers are out of this world and the presentation of everything is the icing on the cake. The chefs know what they are doing and are the real deal. The waitstaff was very friendly and our server, Denado went above and beyond which made our experience all the more wonderful.
