The calzone I had was good, loved the sauce. However, the reason for 2 stars was due to terrible customer service. You can have excellent food, but when your attitude stinks, you risk losing customers. As I walked in, I said "Hi, how are you?" The girl didn't respond in kind, didn't even smile, just asked if I was picking up. Then the gentleman who informed me my order would be ready in 10 minutes (which was right on time) did so with the most un-friendly tone and also no smile. They both looked very unhappy. I returned 10 minutes later and was handed my order. No "thank you," "have a nice day," nothing from any of the 3 people inside. Same look of contempt, as if the customer is unworthy of any regard. Stopped in for a quick lunch on a recent visit to the Charleston area....had a delicious lunch salad (huge portion!) with perfectly seasoned grilled chicken, served in a large bowl which was a great idea to help prevent spillage! My husband had the Italian prosciutto special hero (prosciutto and mozzarella with all the fixings and balsamic vinegar) which he thoroughly enjoyed and said tasted "just like NY".... will def be back next visit to the area to taste the pizza which smelled great! (Loved watching the pizza maker tossing pizzas like a pro).... Saw a calzone go by to another table which looked and smelled perfect! We will be back to try some more items when our travels bring us to the area again. Friendly staff too! ...

Fantastic pizza! We have been ordering the same pizza from this wonderful spot for many years. Battery Park to be specific is the pizza. Chicken/pesto. It has changed names over the years as has the shop itself. However, what has not changed is that it is great pizza and super nice people serving it up. Tonight, however, I was compelled to call them back after having my Battery Park to tell them that it was the best one we had ever had. The crust was just right and the toppings were fresh and just the right amount. Huge thanks to the team. If you have never had pizza from here, just do it. You will be glad...
