Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Mount Sterling

I am an assistant Scoutmaster and led a campout where we stopped with 3 car loads of boys and adults on a Sunday afternoon on the way back from a long and difficult backpacking trek. The dining room was closed #BecauseOfTheCOVID, and it was basically impossible to go through the drive-through and keep money and orders straight. However, the friendly DQ staff went over and above normal service -- they seated us on the patio, came out and took our order, and even made correct change. The food came out 100% correct and fast. I have never had a fast food experience that was as good as the one at the Mt. Sterling DQ even in normal times, but to have this kind of care of our crew during the COVID was amazing. This place has earned our loyalty -- and hopefully our business inside the dining room in much easier times that will come in the future. Great, friendly staff who actually care about customers, and good DQ food. ...

Went there for a quick bite before going to October court days. Being a diabetic I thought I would have a small side salad and a small zero sugar Ale 8 to drink just to have something so my sugar wouldn't drop and cause me problems. And my son had the same. After paying and getting our drinks we sat and waited for our food to be brought out to us. When the lady brought out our food we was surprised by how big the salad was ..it was Huge salad so I thought they gave us the wrong thing so I dug in my pockets to find the receipt and my total was like $18 and some change. But I didn't want to go trough the whole ordeal of getting a refund and trying to get a smaller salad so I ate all I wanted of it. with Salad left over for 2 more meals I was done so it went to waste. The whole thing about this is we both ordered a Small SIDE salad not...

Order here all the time. Mostly the 6 buck meals. As usual we wait and get the coupon for the sundae cause really, who wants a melted sundae. Go back through the drive thru to get the sundaes and they tell me you can only use one of the coupons.....we just finished our meal and would like to get the sundae....nope still ain't happening so I proceed to order the "browny batter blizzard" because it shows on the menu and is posted up on the announcement by the road. They proceed to tell me they don't have it and are not sure when it will be back. That sign is still up, and they still don't have it. Some management is greatly needed at this restaurant. This place is a mess from construction, and Noone is able to dine in. Service sucks and the orders are wrong most of the time. We now go to Arby's for their shakes....they are sooo...
