We were a party of 9 yesterday celebrating my grandma's birthday. After our hibachi show a lady (I assume is the manager) gave us QR codes to scan and write a review about our experience. So here I am writing a review. I expected better service and honestly better food. Our waitress Gabriella, had the most stank attitude for God knows whatever reason. She had no smile, no expression, no warmness and honestly barely any knowledge of the menu. Not sure if she was too impatient for our group or what..but I expected more hospitality. She probably didnt even care because gratuity was already included in our bill because our party size. Our hibachi chef, Toshima (not sure how its spelled) was nice but I wish there was more fire and fun with his show. The food was very salty and we could barely eat it, and the white rice and fried rice was hard and possibly stale. The veggies had no taste...the soup was just water (so bland) and the salad was just iceberg lettuce, 1 cucumber slice and 1 tomato slice. Overall it left alot to be desired. Also a tip, if anyone orders the BBQ Hibachi chicken..please note that it has a little kick to it. My poor husband who cant tolerate spicy things..couldn't eat it. I wish our waitress would have told us this or they could have mentioned it on the menu..because when something has BBQ sauce it usually means sweet. The "manager" could also have been better. When she was advertising her QR code cards, I was screaming at the top of my lungs for her assistance because Gabriella was nowhere to be found and we needed drink refills..and I couldn't even get the manager's attention. The whole experience ticked me off. And then also when they brought out my grandma's cake (that i bought and provided to them) they had the candles stuck in as "58" when shes "85"..the cake topper i also provided said 85..so I dont know where they got 58 from...I was annoyed. The cake cutting fee is also $9 when I called a week prior and was told $7 on the phone....I didnt really care the $2 difference but just get your story straight. Would I ever go back to Arirang? No. What i recommend to anyone? Absolutely not. I went to Benihana's years ago and they were a blast and everything was so good. I'd probably hit up that place instead of...
Read moreWe absolutely love coming here, especially on Monday and Tuesday nights when kids eat free. It's become a regular outing for our family, and each visit is a delightful experience.
The staff here is exceptional—always welcoming and incredibly friendly to our daughter (us adults too). We’ve never had a bad chef, but we want to give a special shoutout to Fabian and Jesse. They both have not only great personalities and put on an entertaining show, but ALSO consistently cook the food well.
The food is a great value for the price. We appreciate that you get both soup and salad, unlike many other hibachi places that make you choose. While you do have to pay extra for fried rice instead of plain white rice, we wish it were just included in the price, as nearly all guests opt for it from what we've seen. The portion sizes are generous—we always have leftovers for lunch the next day. Personally, I wouldn't mind a bit less on the vegetables, but that's just me. The ice cream at the end is also a generous scoop, though again I’d be fine with a smaller serving.
A recent change we’ve noticed is that chefs now keep food on the grill until everything is ready, serving rice, veggies, and meat simultaneously. This ensures everything is hot, and I appreciate being able to enjoy it all together.
We also want to commend one of our server, Ariana. On our last visit, she recognized us and remembered our daughter asked for a bowl of just cucumbers instead of the salad. A side note: the ginger dressing deserves its own shoutout—it gets our daughter to eat vegetables, as she’ll dip almost anything in it!
If you’re visiting for the first time, I highly recommend the lemon sole. It includes two large filets which is a great value for the cost, and even as someone who's not a huge fan of fish it is delicious.
Overall, this restaurant remains our family’s favorite spot for a night out. Highly...
Read moreAlways quick delicious sushi and hibachis! We love seeing our regular servers Jenny, Max and Tammy! Neeko makes the best fresh sushi always! I always wanted a chocolate martini ( needs chocolate shavings on the top of the drink ) on the menu. Arirang always had their great Chocolate Martinis! Yum! Arirangini-A martini made with sake, and other delicious ingredients. I like chocolate and asked Max why don’t you have a chocolate martini? They’ve put it on the menu only a few years ago. It’s delicious in the chilled glass with the chocolate drizzle inside the glass. They don’t skimp on the liquor. It’s a delicious drink for $13.99. Thank you! Always excellent ambiance, full restaurant but doesn’t feel crowded! The salads are always fresh! The miso soup always hot and delicious! Thank you! The entrees are always hot and delicious and the sushi is amazingly fresh and delicious and Neeko has superb knife skills! The sushi is always sliced perfectly even and beautifully laid out!! We enjoy looking at the amazing display of the sushi boat! Like a piece of art! Thank you Neeko! Luella - one of the managers stopped. by our table to say hello. We appreciated that! Thank you Luella! The other managers did not stop by in the past 3 visits and that was disappointing!! Everything on the menu is cooked to our preferences! The ice creams are really good- green tea, red bean, chocolate and orange sherbet! This is my favorite restaurant! I had my 60th Bday party here with over 85 people! Everyone had a great fun time at the Hibachi tables! For the party I’ve ordered extra appetizers and order extra pitchers of Arirangria’s! I even ordered to go food at the party for some friends! It was amazing! Great value for dinners!! Thank you...
