While on my treks across Indiana as a service truck dude, I would sometimes go through Mulberry, In. Usually, on my way home from Lafayette. I would see this restaurant in Mulberry and always wanted to try it out, but I was more interested in getting home. We'll today I went and checked it out. Wow, good food and good service! We started with the deep fried smelt, and they were really good. The small fish were tender and tasty with more than enough for two. Next, my wife had the catfish filets , 2 total, with coleslaw and tots. A big thumbs up! More than she could eat! Then I had the Walleye, 3 total filets with Coleslaw and Mac n' cheese. The breading on both fish was not heavy and very, very tasty. Overall, if you like fish, please try Southfork restaurant in Mulberry, In. We knew when we tried the smelt that this was a hidden nugget for fish.

the Southfork Restaurant & Pub in mulberry makes a really good tenderloin. it's the traditional huge type. we gave it five stars. I like my pork a little thicker but it was still good. the breading is crispy without being overwhelming and it's nicely seasoned. we also tried the catfish nuggets and they were excellent. onion rings were limp and soggy, probably because we got it to go. the grilled tenderloin was also huge but it was very dry. still a good quality piece of pork with all the fat and gristle trimmed out. unfortunately everything was packed and petroleum based on recyclable styrofoam

Happen to be in Mulberry for a funeral and was looking for somewhere to have a quiet lunch, the town is so small the choices were here or the Pizza King next door. We made a good choice. This tenderloin sandwich was delicious. It has been over a decade since I’ve had one of these sandwiches and it hit the spot right in nostalgia of what Indiana food is supposed to tase like. Great prices, great service, great food. If I ever end up in Mulberry again, I’ll definitely be making a stop here.

Kelly, the manager, is not friendly. I am a senior citizen, that spends at least $100 a week at this restaurant. I called this evening to get a rack of ribs with green beans and mashed potatoes and was told that they had none. As I was finished writing this review I read a few others. The food gets five stars, everything else gets one star. I wonder why that is! Could it be Kelly? Looks like it.

I went in for dinner and got a different main course and was given green beans and mashed potatoes.

I do not patronize businesses that are not honest. Green beans and mashed potatoes are not odd, they're an American staple and if South fork Pub cannot serve green beans and mashed potatoes to one of their best clients on a Friday night... I don't know what to say.

I will never ever ever go to South fork Pub again... although I have been a member of the Mulberry community for 35 years. Kelly (the manager) has a chip on her shoulder, and does not treat senior citizens in this community with respect. As long as Kelly is manager (and I've realize she has been manager for 20 years plus) I will not patronize the pub. It is sad when a legacy business allows one person to single-handedly disrespect the patrons of their business. I am done!

Revision. I was told today, that I was not speaking with Kelly on the phone. I am not criticizing Kelly, I'm criticizing the person that I spoke with on the phone.

Everything that I said stands except that it was not Kelly that I spoke with because when she told me that she was not the one I spoke to I believe her.

It did not go well when I went in for dinner tonight. I attempted an apology after she told me that I did not speak with her and that I spoke with someone else and that was not received well. I will forego the details. All I will say is that the food is great. The customer service has a lot to be desired...

This place might have been great at one point many years ago but unfortunately it has gone downhill over the years the atmosphere is very outdated the building isn't taken care of or clean inside or out the service is terribly rude slow lazy and the food is frozen food cooked by an amateur who clearly has never heard of seasoning like salt or pepper or know how long to cook the food and the prices for the meals are ridiculous and waiting for food you might as well stayed home it's about 45 min wait or more this place just needs new owners new staff and a facelift into the present times and then maybe it would have a chance to succeed the only people that go there and say they like it are the ones who never gone out and had real quality food before I remember hearing a customer saying this is best food she ever had I just shook my head in disgust the only redeem quality I can say because I heard it all the time and I know people that still go here is for the fish that being said I also know people who went here and got sick after eating there they have a bar side that they don't close off and you can hear how loud it is I think that's why it still open because of the bar side I never been in that side and...

I took my mother to Southfork one evening for dinner. We ordered the "world famous tenderloins". They were decent nothing really over the top. Our problem came when my mom overheard a staff member talking about us. They thought we had already left when they said " I didnt think they would ever freaking leave". I didnt make a fuss that night. I called and talked to someone named Scott the next day. Scott's attitude wasnt much better than his staffs. He just made excuses like "it wasnt my normal staff" and "they probably just wanted to go home". Totally not the reply I was expecting. Next time Scott you should probably say " I will see who was working last night and have a talk with them about the matter". At least show a little concern even if it's not genuine. I gave 5 stars for service because our waitress was really good. I would give zero stars for customer service because...
