El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Mulvane

Looks like my Mexican wife called it, only getting reviews from likely friends n family in our opinion. Now, to OUR experience! We miss our spot Los Candilles! We shouldn't have tried anything different after finding our new spot (Las Vaquitas). Hands down the WORST Mexican place we've eaten at! Chips were hard, wait staff wasn't attentive - empty drinks, empty salsa, empty chips, etc (with only us and another family there), rice wasn't cooked, tamales are done with a meat topping & red sauce inside, all bland, street tacos were too tough (carne asada), corn tortillas were dried and fell apart, hot salsa is a mouthful of chili powder - that needs redone completely, & we left all the food. He asked if we wanted a box & when we said no, it sounded like he broke the plates (likely KNOWING this review was coming lol). Lastly, it took 10-15 min JUST TO LEAVE! The wifi went out and they had to try running my card 10x on 2 different machines! Lucky for them it finally worked, because I would not have came back. I would have rather dealt with the local PD for feeding us unedible food & not running a proper business! Oh, STILL no liquor license? But you still sell beer & false advertise liquor? I would think that's more illegal then not coming back to pay! No tip and I won't take this down until I see a refund! What a joke! Don't open a business UNTIL YOU'RE ACTUALLY READY! I expect this joint to be gone as fast as it came in! In my opinion, ignore the fake reviews, skip out all together & go to Derby! Candiles opened, our favorite is Las Vaquitas, then you got the ones that have been there for ages - not our taste, but at least they've been open forever! Oh and Tacos TJ 664 is coming to Derby! ...

The food was really good and came out hot. We stopped by on a Monday evening and got seated right away. The guacamole dip had a nice little kick to it and was super tasty. The chicken fajita nachos were amazing. The chicken was seasoned just right. They have Coke products for drinks. The margarita machine was down, but the menu had a bunch of flavors that sounded great, and the prices were super reasonable. Very nice atmosphere. They had multiple TVs...

Was here daughter gave me a drink&eat bday. Lol I definitely got my fill on both the food here is well super fantastic . All around good eats. I will be going here now on good portions and pricing. Great staff, I had a long island iced tea super tasty of course daughter finally stopped giving me tequila shots agyer the I think 12th lol I definitely left uhmmm HAPPY LOL THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF HELPED MAKE MY DAY...
