Hunnicutt's Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Muncie

Every time me and my husband come here the female cook messes up our food and we go every day to get icecream every single time we get food she messes up our food she’s messed up hamburgers. She messes up walking tacos she messed up on nacho supreme she literally gave me lttuce that isn’t enough for a rabbit four little pieces of tomato and a tiny tiny amount of sour cream and chips. It was supposed to be a nacho supreme extra everything with chips on the side I paid for extra toppings twice that female cook they got back. There is the rudest woman I’ve ever met. I went up to the window after checking my food and she said that the nacho supreme I was given was just fine and how it supposed to be made, and then slammed the window in my face. So I guess that just lettuce 4 pieces of tomato and not even a tea spoon of sour cream is a nacho Supreme. The only one there who helped us was a guy named Dalton he was great but that woman shouldn't work there because she is rude and does not care about anything clearly I paid 13 dollars for a $5.99 nacho Supreme. I wish I could add a picture of what I received but I do not recommend this place anymore was my favorite now its not after today. Me and my husband spend at least 30 dollars a day...

I haven't been to Hunnicutt's in years, because I figured if I was gonna pay $5 for an icecream, I might as well go to Dairy Queen. However, I went there today to meet a friend, and ordered a 🐢 (turtle) and was impressed. The prices are still too high, but the turtle was the biggest one that I have ever seen. Granted bigger isn't always better, especially for ur waist line, but this time, bigger was definitely better. My second issue with Hunnicutt's was the amount of food that you got for your money. A large looked like a small and a small looked like a baby portion. However, today, Hunnicutt's definitely stepped it up. I was happy with their service, and their icecream. As for the prices and the long wait, I guess I would rather wait a little longer and pay a little more, for good quality food and service with a friendly smile. I will definitely visit again in the near future. Hopefully, I will have another...

We usually visit Hunnicutt's about once a month when they are open, usually on their Coney Dog Special Day. Today we visited and we ordered 6 Coney Dogs and half of them had less than a half of a teaspoon of Coney Sauce on them. I understand the need to cut back and especially when I'm only paying $.89 for a Coney Dog, but that seems extreme and is not the normal quality of their food. We also ordered Waffle Fries, which are normally our favorite part of the meal. Today our waffle fries were the consistency of rocks. Neither one of us could eat them because they were so hard. We had to throw them away because they were completely inedible. I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 5 because if I had experienced Hunnicutt's for the first time today, I would give it 1 star and never go back.
