Murray's Restaurant — Restaurant in Munfordville

The only reason I gave 1 star is because you have to give at least one star. My one and only experience is my last unless the place is sold. Only customers in the place for breakfast and the lady (server) stuck her head out, saw us, didn’t acknowledge us and it took her almost 5 minutes to get to our table. Her attitude was short and almost rude like we disturbed her day. Food was edible and high priced and the place was filthy. Condiments on the table hadn’t been cleaned since the place opened. She never came back to check after food was brought out so my one and only coffee was all I got. I wouldn’t go back if the meal was free. Whoever comes in from the health department must be friends of the owner. I don’t understand these five star reviews, either their standards are low or they’re friends, family, or employees. Not even close to a five star place. It’s like comparing the local roach motel to a Hilton.

8/18/2024 After Mr. Goodall did his review I went back to see if there had been any changes from my first visit. It was basically the same as before. I don’t know what in the world goes on in back that’s so important but that’s where you’ll find all the employees. You have to holler into the kitchen door to get service, once you get it, you can’t expect her to come back, so if you want a refill it’s back to the kitchen door. Roof tiles falling down over tables spiders as big as quarters dead...

The food was okay, but we won't be back. Small & quickly crowded. Bathrooms are outside and need a key to unlock. Cash only. Expensive, $30 for 2 burgers. Went looking for a breakfast place and they stopped serving breakfast at 11

1 cook and 1 server it looked like. Took a while to even place our order. One couple waited a while then left because their drink order hadn't even been taken yet. Soda machine was down, sodas came out of a can or bottle. Water...

Hometown restaurant very small. Service is a little relaxed. Like if they were taking care of somebody at home never in a hurry. Food prices are mid-range about $10 a plate. Service is good. One negative downfall to this restaurant is strictly cash or checks. So if you are not paying attention to a small note on the door saying cash or checks only you would have to run to an ATM which my son...
