alright so i'll start off with the fact that this blue coast (similar to the others) has super fresh ingredients, delicious entrees, and bangin fruit tea. i am admittedly addicted to this fruit tea, and you can purchase it by the gallon which is trouble for my girlish figure. anyway, this location just opened.
it's clean, well lit, and has the chill vibe like the one across town. the food was great. my only complaint was this: the manager who was behind the line. i'm pretty sure the owners were walking around and they were super cheerful and friendly, however the manager maintaining the food line seemed too stressed to function. while the precious little teenagers were putting together my nachos, she was snippy and rude to them for asking questions about how to do their new jobs. that was annoying. she was the ONLY person without a big smile and fun attitude in the line. she smiled halfway out of necessity when i approached her with an overly aggressive smile asking for a chips refill, but she quickly went back to being kind of rude to these chipper teens trying to have fun and enjoy one of their first shifts at this new place.
DONT let that deter you from this location, because it's great and the food is delicious. but maybe if you see her smile extra big and ask why...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this location for years and have always ordered the same thing, nachos with chips and queso on the side. Unfortunately, this has been an ongoing issue almost every visit. There seems to be constant confusion between the Cabo Bowl and the Nachos since they’re priced the same, even though the only real difference is the queso size and whether the chips are served separately.
I prefer my chips on the side to avoid sogginess, and I’ve ordered them this way since my very first visit. However, I constantly find myself having to re-explain or justify this preference, and more often than not, I end up receiving a smaller queso than what comes with the nachos. The inconsistency between visits depending on who takes the order has made this increasingly frustrating.
While I’ve continued to support this location through multiple price increases without complaint, the ongoing confusion and difficulty getting a simple, consistent order right has become discouraging. If distinguishing between the two menu items is this problematic, it may be time to make a clear menu presentation and pricing distinction to prevent future confusion. Unfortunately, after years of giving the benefit of the doubt, this will likely be...
Read moreone of the worst experiences i have ever had. i work in the customer service industry so i understand and i literally never leave reviews but the staff was super disrespectful. except for the man bussing the restaurant and cleaning up, he was super nice and told us happy thanksgiving. we went in at around 7 and yes i know you close at 8 but we had 45 minutes and it seemed like they just wanted to rush us out and didn’t care about taking care of our order even though we were ordering togo.. i got the cabo bowl because it said it was a favorite on the menu and let me tell you they hardly put any rice or meat in my bowl and it was very cold. my fiancés burrito, was freezing cold. i asked for queso on my cabo bowl (didn’t realize i had to ask bc it says it come with queso) and i got a drizzle. we live 2 minutes down the street and got home and i had to put it in the microwave. i don’t think i ever want to come back here just based on the service alone. and here i am after a long day of work just wanting a nice meal and i didn’t even finish my food. a...
