China Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

This used to be my favorite place to get good Chinese food and good service around here but today was a different story. The waitress completely ignored my 3 year old niece. She didn't bring her silverware OR her cup of water. It was literally like she was invisible. I had to get up and get my own napkins because she didn't even come back to check on us. It was not busy at all so there is no reason why we didn't get good service. I'm usually a very well tipper and have waited tables for years, but I didn't want to leave her anything at all it was so bad. And to top it off the food wasn't no where near as good as it used to be. I'm sad that I will no longer be able to enjoy that place like I used to. I’ve been eating her a large portion of of my life child. I’ve from that area, about 8 minutes away and customer service isn’t perfect but it’s typically decent. Depending on who the person is at the register wages the quality of the customer service. Tonight I called and was asked to hold and then hung up on. And when I called back and explained as such, I received a cavalier attitude. So I decided not to order from there tonight and opted for the other local restaurant. I ate Bean curd with vegetables for lunch. That afternoon my stomach started hurting, it hurt all night until about 5:30 a.m. the next day. In addition I suffered from vomiting and diarrhea. It was a horrible experience. Bad service. It should be closed. My friend who ate there had a similar experience at a different time. We thought we would give them a second chance since it had been a long time since we had eaten there. ...
