Let me start by saying the corn chips were very very stale and it only gets worst . As a tiktok influencer, I usually try to give restaurants really good ratings if it's at all possible. I'm glad I did not put this one on tiktok in one sense, but I'm sorry I didn't in another because this one would get an absolute no, never, totally tasteless food at best. The host was very alooth and look as though I had offended him for coming in. The cashier was very cold. No smile. No thank you, not even close to welcoming. As far as the cashier, she was just there as a body to collect money.
I have not felt so unwelcome in a restaurant in a very long time. I called the order in and this is what's important to me also. I was very clear in asking if they had chili poblano I was told yes I specifically asked. We're talking with meat correct? I was told yes. I picked up the order and came home. Needless to say it was chili relleno. And the absolute most unflavorful unrecognizable chilling relleno I have ever had in my life. I called and the host answered the phone and I asked him about the chili poblano. He told me that they did not have ground meat, or any meat to put in the chili so I was just given the chili relleno. Would I attempt to go back to this particular restaurant? I will. I normally do. I Will go and give one more chance but only as a. sit-down patron to see if there's a difference in the treatment or food. But as far as this takeout order, I would never order another takeout at this particular restaurant. and it's going to take a lot to see if I can get through the lack of smiles, negative energy, and the cold and aloofed behaviors. I really want to be fair with these people but the food is not good on the takeout side.
As much as I wanted that to be the end of my critique, I tasted the flan that I purchased just a moment ago. I don't know who had the bright idea to put chocolate syrup as opposed to a caramelized sugar over the flan and to use curdle milk. Yeah I don't think I will be going back in here. Read moreI've come here on several occasions and today has been the WORST! I ordered 2 chicken grande burros NO beans along with other food and got the food home and there were beans. I called to inform them of this and the girl said to bring it back. My mom took it back to get new orders that were prepared. She comes back and we open our food and my burrito is full of RICE and hardly no cheese sauce! It was prepared as if somebody was mad that we bought the other orders back. I called once again and the girl tried to justify this in so many different ways, 1 of them being it's only $7. Imagine somebody telling you that as if it makes a difference 😡. I don't care if it was $2, it's my money that I worked for and spent expecting quality food!!! I told her, I wasn't coming back but I wanted to call and make them aware of the issue. We knew nothing about the area so randomly picked the Mexican restaurant on the coupon for dinner. We get there & I show the coupon to the waiter who verified it with management present. They return it to me stating it is good for $5 for the table. We had 5 in our party so $5 wasn’t much but I was appreciative nonetheless. I said ok. I handed the other coupons I had to someone else eating since I was not going to be returning to the area. We order & are eating when the same management comes to me saying they r not honoring the $5 coupon since they said their manager stated he didn’t authorize for his business to be on the coupon this year. 😳 Poor management.
