I had been wanting to try this place. I live across town so I decided to make the 20 minutes drive today.
My experience was sub-par from the minute the hostess asked how many. It was just me, party of one, it was about 12:30. I asked for a corner booth and the hostessâs reply was âIâm too tired to say no so sureâ. I was taken aback by her response. The waiter took my order it was the basic breakfast with an up charge for city ham instead of bacon and sausage (which doesnât make a lot of sense since I wasnât getting all three - you would think it would be a a swap but whatever and I ordered coffee and one pancake ala carte. IT TOOK 25 MINUTES TO GET MY FOOD. The waiter was aware that this should be so he gave me a $5 off card when he delivered my food and he said that my order was in the midst of other larger orders. Did I get lost in the shuffle or didnât cooks make one person wait 30 minutes for a basic breakfast that should have been on the table in 15 at most? Obviously major kitchen issues at this place. My food was barely warm. My toast was cold and my eggs were overcooked. I asked the waiter to redo my eggs so now the whole meal is out of whack. It took about 10 minutes to get 2 over easy or medium or whatever they call them eggs. He brought out two eggs and said the third one was on the way. It took another 5 minutes for that final eggs to arrive. I wanted to ask for a manager but decided on the spot whatâs the use I was not going to spend my time or gas to give this place a second chance. The owners names are on the menu - they really need to work on things. Being just one person, this should have never been the case and by the time I got my food the place was half-empty. I couldnât make what the waiter said about larger tables make sense. I think either he or the kitchen dropped the ball. I wonât be wasting anymore money...
Read moreTake this review with a grain of salt as this place is fairly new and my family had eaten here after church and on fathers day on top of that so they were extremely busy.
The wait to be seated at a table was about 30-40 minutes, expected though. The food took maybe about an hour or an hour and a half. Even under those conditions it's usually an hour minimum wait at other breakfast places.
The Atmosphere was nice and they had nice decorations but it wasn't anything jaw dropping. It was decently clean but the table we were seated at was sticky feeling.
Everything was great until they started bringing out the food and drink. I'll cover the things I tried personally, my whole family found the food to be mediocre at best and nausea inducing at worst.
Orange juice: expected freshly squeezed, but tasted like store bought stuff like Tropicana.
Biscuits and gravy: Gravy was really salty and the biscuits were cold in the middle.
Chicken and waffles: Waffles were solid, weren't extraordinary though, chicken reminded me of mcdonalds chicken nuggets. The spicy honey provided made it slightly better.
The red white and bacon pancakes: Cheap tasting pancakes that had a cheap hotel bacon taste with every bite. Actually gave me some nausea. Syrup didn't really help either, was most likely fake, high fructose corn syrup, rather than actual maple syrup.
The best part was how nice the servers were under the extreme pressure of rush time Sunday breakfast, they were still being very kind and asking if we needed anything. They even brought out the biscuits and gravy early to help sate our appetites'.
With four people the check came out to 60 something dollars (not including tip) for food that I would personally pay about 12 dollars for. Food kinda tasted like overpriced Ihop.
Overall we were quite disappointed, won't be returning...

Long Review: Saw the hype, and wanted to try a new place near us. The service was great and the people friendly. Atmosphere was fine and nothing stood out as bad. It's just the food wasn't great or really good. It was passable, at least mine was.
Drink: I got the Sweet Cream Vanilla Cold Brew Coffee. Spoiler alert, it was the only thing I really enjoyed.
Food: Chicken Biscuits and Gravy w/ Fries (Mine(can't remember the menu name of it)) - It was okay. The chicken looked like Fish N' Chips style, which was interesting to me, it tasted fine. Gravy was fine, worked well with the fries. The biscuits just didn't do it for me. You would get better biscuits at Hardee's, maybe even McDonalds, which I haven't been to in 20 plus years. Fries were probably the highlight and they looked like what you would get from a food supply store.
Loaded Home Fry Bowl - (SO), Order did come out wrong, the eggs were suppose to be sunny side up, but they came out scrambled. No big deal, just kept it. No seasoning what so ever. It was just a bowl of meh. Didn't taste like anything, and half way through it we just called it. No point in eating no flavor. Too bad the bowl sounded good from the menu.
Summary: Best Western might be better, at least you can make your food yourself, sometimes. We will at least give it another go in a few months. Maybe we just got unlucky. Maybe it being new was a factor. Was really hoping to enjoy this place since it's close to us. And if the drink was the highlight, than maybe I'm missing what everyone is hyped about. Maybe...
