Red’s Place PR — Restaurant in Naguabo

I came here on a whim after spending the day at the beach! I was tired and hangryy and was honestly just going to opt for BK if it didn’t work - lol! I walked in the place and was immediately greeted by Kary who was so sweet and welcoming. She got me my fav soda, that I drink wayyyy too much of when I’m here 😅. She gave me a menu, told me to take a seat, relax & she’ll be right with me. The menu has so much versatility from burgers & tacos to more traditional PR cuisine. I got some queso frito to start & had the mar y tierra (churrasco steak + garlic shrimp) w/ arroz y habichuela con tostones and bayy beeee let me tell you - i almost fell out my chair when i took the first bite. The steak was seasoned to perfection with just enough sofrito, the garlic sauce that was drizzled over it literally made the steak melt in your mouth. The tostones were crispy and salted to perfection and the mayoketchu to compliment it was the best ive ever had. Usually peoples just mix the mayo & ketchup and call it a day but there was def some fresh ajo & sofrito in there - so so so good!

Just when i thought i was stuffed to the gills Kary offered me a guayaba y queso flan 🍮- how was I supposed to say no?! 🥲

All in all, 10/10 experience- Kary’s service was warm, friendly & attentive which would have been enough for me but to give me one of the best meals I’ve had in my 31 years of visiting PR?! Amazing 🥲

This was our first time here, but we will be back. Our waiter, David, was friendly and bilingual. We're actively learning Spanish and he was patient with us. I didn't get the name of the other guy, but he was friendly às well.

I had a double cheeseburger and fries. It was delicious and so filling I had to take part of it home. My daughter had a chirrasco Mac and cheese with amarillos and she said it was delicious. She said the meat was tender and the amarilos were a nice contrast to the Mac and cheese.

This place was amazing! We came across it on goggle trying to find good comfort food but with Puerto Rican sazón!!! Highly recommended the owner and staff make you feel welcome as a tourist in a residential area. Hands down the best BBQ ribs I’ve ever had I wish I could find these in Miami. The fries have to be added to your list! They are the only ones that made the pictures haha! Drive...
