Had a wondeful tasting experience, all the wines were delicious and that's saying something coming from me, I'm not the wine drinker, my gf is. Matt was super knowledgable and we had a great time chatting with him and learning more about their wines! Highly recommend going (be sure to make a reservation!) and definitely want to go back, I'll have to keep an eye out for their wines when I'm shopping (my gf was very impressed with their pinots and cabs šŸ˜‰ )

Lori and Sheron were absolutely fantastic. It's a must visit if you're heading into Yountville via Silverado trail. Taking the backroads was absolutely breathless and so was coming up into the property with an almost "tree of life" presentation. The wine was paired with good company. Lori made sure we were WELL taken care of even with a glass of champagne to cap off our visit. Felt truly magical starting a weekend getaway on such a high note.

My girlfriends and I came across Bread and Butter on Platypus Tours, we loved it so much we came back the next day to buy more wine, and join the wine club! The atmosphere was very friendly, inviting, and fun! The wines were the best we tasted in the valley! Lori was amazing, we wanted to take her home with us. She was able to call some friends and get us into some more places as well! We are already planning our trip back.

From Red to White: A Love Story in a Bottle

I’m 70 years old, and in my decades of wine-drinking, I’ve been a devoted bold red wine lover and an unapologetic white wine hater — for all of those 70 years. My wife of 45 years, Goldie, has always been a Sauvignon Blanc fan, so in my quest to tempt her away to something new, I went searching for the perfect Chardonnay.

By pure accident, I stumbled upon Bread & Butter Chardonnay. The bottle I originally wanted wasn’t in stock, so I grabbed this as a ā€œbackup.ā€ Little did I know, it would change everything.

When I poured Goldie her first glass, she lit up after one sip. Curious (and still skeptical), I stole a taste… and that was it. My red wine days were over. I’ve converted — completely — to this stunning Chardonnay. The flavor profile is utterly addictive: rich, complex, and unforgettable. I crave it daily.

It’s hard to describe exactly why it’s so perfect — maybe that’s just the 70-year-old in me talking — but I know I never want it to change. This isn’t just Goldie’s wine anymore. It’s ours.

Bread & Butter, you’ve crafted a gem. You turned a lifelong white wine hater into a lifelong Chardonnay devotee. Cheers to you for making our...

GO HERE!! After attending a wedding in the area we found ourselves with an afternoon to spare, but no plan or tasting appointments. We love Bread & Butter grocery store wines, so we thought we’d try to visit their new winery. We were able to book a same day tasting appointment online and our visit was easy & comfortable. Lori, the winery manager, hosted our tasting; she was knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and a joy to connect with. The black label wines served at the winery are even better than the white label wines we already loved from the grocery store. Everything here - the delicious wine, the friendly staff, the beautiful grounds - made for a wonderful afternoon. This spot will definitely be one that we return to on...

This was the worst experience we had in Napa Valley. We had a registered service dog with us for medical reason. Jo ran from the back of the winery to the front door to be as unwelcoming as possible. Once she realized she was a service animal she relented and let us sit down with a long lecture about things unrelated to our scenario. On a beautiful Saturday afternoon we opted to leave instead of drink one of our previously favorite wines as this person was incredibly rude and intolerant. This is the first negative review I’ve ever left on a posting and think others should know who they might be served by at...
