Cute little diner with nice outdoor seating. Sun in the morning during summer. If you picture small country town diner cliche you have a sense of the interior. Seats are comfortable.
I have had great breakfasts here. Never in for lunch or dinner. Friendly service even though I was obviously not a local. The server knew most people’s names who came in. One guys asked if he had any messages waiting when he walked in. He cackled heartily at his own joke. The server gave him a familiar eye roll. Lovely sitcom kind of interaction.
Portions were generous, cost was reasonable. Eggs were real eggs and prepared perfectly.
I’ve had several menu items and the standout favorite for me is the steak skillet. Generous portions of perfectly medium steak bites mixed with green peppers, onions and tomatoes. Covered with cheese, gravy and perfectly over easy eggs and wheat toast. It’s really not as heavy as it sounds.
I can’t wait to go back. East on and east off from the freeway when heading north. Haven’t been there when...
Read moreI LOVE this place!!!! Will eat here every week!! I'm from D.C. and husband from NY state so we know great food. Atmosphere is classy, clean, and decorated festive and fun. We found a quieter table in the back room. Staff was helpful, kind, and went the extra mile to tell us about prime rib night on Friday. Our server Chevy (nickname) was delightful, attentive, pretty!, and told us about hiking in the area! The food was such high quality and price you can't beat anywhere. The pancakes are everything you'd hope for: fluffy, tasty, and large. The syrup was even delicious, not overly sweet. Hash browns were perfectly crispy, and not too salty or mushy. The eggs were fresh. The bacon was crispy and amazing taste. They have fresh ingredients and everything is made from scratch in house. They serve late breakfast and open for every meal time. Parking was a little scarce in front but there is extra parking behind the building. Donuts across the...
Read moreHave been wanting to try The Napavine diner for a while now. Finally got a chance to go for lunch. Well I had bacon and eggs and it was good. My son in law got the country fried steak skillet, he said it was amazing. My daughter ordered a Philly cheesesteak, and it was really good as well, she asked for cream cheese added to it, and without hesitation, they accommodated her request. My husband ordered the Mega burger, and the name does not disappoint. It was wonderful. However, it is large and messy so once you pick it up, you probably won’t be setting it down until you’re finished, pro tip eat your fries first!!! Next time we go I will be getting a burger as well. I was torn between the bacon and blue cheeseburger or bacon and eggs. I chose the latter and was happy with it, but I would’ve preferred one of the burgers I quickly realized after seeing my husbands. Servers were friendly, everyone working seemed to be...
