I very much wanted to give this higher marks but cannot... being said I stopped in with my girlfriend... heard about this place over the years and went for it.... Walked in and stood there with nobody to help.... voice from the back telling me to wait.... finally a person.... got 6 doughnuts and paid to much for them.... very small and barely any filling... didn't eat the last 2.... way to gooey....not properly done. Since I am a reviewer I kindly asked to take a few pics... just wanted to help out ma n pop get a lil more out there.... halted and refused....tsk tsk...Walked away feeling unwanted.... not how things are supposed to be. I have NEVER tasted donuts like Spiffy’s and I’ve had a lot of donuts!! The apple fritters were out of this world, like nothing I’ve ever tasted, being fresh and hot from the oven. The owners were so kind to us, offering us a few fresh donut holes to try that were incredible, and telling us to wait a few minutes so that they could give us more donuts that were just coming out of the oven. They also have a very convenient drive up that serves coffee, boba, and more. The nicest people and the best donuts I’ve ever had! If we ever go back to Washington we are making this...
Read moreDonuts were pretty good. My favorite was the buttermilk. I would describe it as a combination of a cake donut and a yeast donut. The raspberry bear claw was fine, maybe the raspberry was a bit strong. The twist donut was okay. The apple fritter was good. Also had the Spanish hot coffee, really enjoyed the coffee drink.
