House of Emperor — Restaurant in Naperville

I cannot say enough good about this restaurant!! I am in Florida and my Dad was just diagnosed with Covid. He is exhausted, and food was the last thing on his mind. He finally got a taste for something, so I called immediately to order for him. He said that he just wanted Chicken Chop Suey. I also saw that there was a Chicken Noodle Soup, so I added that at well. He said it was the best soup he had ever had! It was packed with chicken, noodles and the broth was sensational! His words were, “I was in heaven for the whole meal!” He also said that he will have more than enough food for two more meals, too. (He didn’t send a photo of the Chop Suey, but assured me it was excellent and plentiful.)

The customer service was excellent as well. The gentleman that answered the phone was so kind and patient. I expressed that my Dad was sick, and he assured me that it would be no problem for contactless delivery.

Used to go semi-regularly. Likely will not go again - food was bland and chicken was very dry (possibly because of poor customer service for ordering system). Ordered on internet, it said order would take 30-40 minutes and that I would be provided text updates. Got a single text when order was placed. Arrived to pick up 35 minutes after order was placed (with still no updates or status on order being ready). They said the wait on Tuesdays is usually only 10 minutes and the food had been ready for a long time. I asked why their ordering system said 40 minutes? They responded that it doesn't work right. I said why didn't I get any text updates? They said they don't do that anymore. Why even offer online ordering if it is going to misinform customers and offer such a poor quality of service? After hearing many good things from friends and family members about some of the best Chinese around since Golden Chopsticks in Bolingbrook closed, my mom and I thought that we'd go investigate House Of Emperor for ourselves.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere, the service and the food were all spot on perfection!

We started out our lunch with egg drop soup and spicy egg drop soup. I never had the spicy egg drop soup before and let me tell you it is so so good!

I ordered the spicy Mongolian beef with egg rolls and chicken fried rice My mom ordered shrimp lo mein with egg rolls and rice We were both very, very satisfied with both of our meals. Some of the best Chinese I've had in about easily 3 or 4 years

I highly recommend House of Emperor for anyone looking for some amazing tasting Chinese. You will not be disappointed. I will definitely be going back very soon
