Anne's Hideaway — Restaurant in Naplate

First of all every single menu you can find from this place shows there family chicken meal at either 9.75 - 10.95 to my surprise when I ordered 7 family chicken meals and sent my son 30 minutes away to pick them up with $100 he calls me to say he didn’t have enough luckily there was more money in the car so I told him just pay for it and I’ll figure it out from the receipt when he gets home well no receipt is in the bag and we only got 6 family chicken meals only 4 of the spaghetti sides 6 salads and 4 pieces of bread I call and say why was it so much for 6 meals they say that was a Christmas special price ended on Christmas I say I didn’t even know of a special every menu online shows the price at less then $11 can you tell me where online I can see that the price is different they send me a text of a paper menu from there store listing it at 15.95 then they say I was charged a $1 extra per meal for light meat and then charged extra for baked potatoes instead of fries which I then notice they didn’t even give me the baked potatoes they charged extra for so I tell them this also there response was just bizarre they wouldn’t even acknowledge that I only got like half my order at one point she even asked me how many ranch dressings I got for my salad I told them 7 she said see your order is right then lmao as if somehow because I got the right amount of free salad dressing that made everything ok not to mention all the styrofoam containers the chicken were in were all melted together and there was styrofoam melted on the chicken I told them I would just return the food then for a refund they said being the food already left there property they would not do a refund however right before they ended the call they said if I order again they will give me all the stuff I was...

We used to come here all the time, travel over an hour to come. Food was always delicious, place packed. Went back tonight for dinner first time in a few years, service was nice, should have taken the empty parking lot as our sign. The food has really changed, chicken was dry, fries undercooked. The fish was good. I have never, I mean literally never, returned a dish. I ordered shrimp scampi, what came was spicy seasoned shrimp on top of brown rice. I asked the server if she accidentally gave me the wrong dish. She said no, that’s how they serve it. Never seen that before, asked to get noodles and a side of butter & garlic and we would be good (as the shrimp was not good or I would have just ate it that way). She brought back plain noodles, same spicy seasoned shrimp, and a side of what tasted like oil with garlic in it. I dipped a shrimp and it was really not good. She did take it back and take it off the bill which was nice and she was very friendly about it all. However I left hungry, and a few in the partly left unsatisfied. Not what...

A little out of the way place but by looking at the parking lot on Sunday evening (crowded) you knew it was worth the extra meandering to get there. Remember to bring cash, internet was down but the video gambling machines still worked somehow. You don’t come here for the salad or the potato. You come here for the meat ! I had the prime rib and my husband pointed out I was cutting it with my butter knife and I did not have any waste on my plate. This meat was so tender and tasty and the portion was huge ! This again is where the locals eat. We were so happy to find it because I am going to have prime rib sandwiche for lunch tomorrow. My husband and me shared the king size portion and still have leftovers. The staff was friendly and service was fast. They also give you this huge piece of French bread. Remember, This is for your prime rib sandwich lunch so take it with !
