This was the absolute worst dining experience we’ve ever had! Hands down! We probably should have known better. The bartender was friendly, but our server was not. It was my fiancé’s birthday (who is a physician) I am a small business owner. We are African American. Soon as we entered the establishment, looks of disdain from the patrons...not the staff assaulted us from every corner. We’re bigger people than bigotry, and decided not to let that affect our time at this restaurant, or with each other. We ordered appetizers with mozzarella sticks, onion rings, chicken wings, and fried mushrooms. It was cold, greasy, soggy, unflavorful...it really was just a gelatinous mess. We immediately asked for the waitress to take it away, without it hardly being touched. We expected the entrees to be better, but we’re extremely disappointed to see what was offered to us. We ordered the seafood platter, and I believe the broiled walleye. Both were disgusting! One taste, and we knew we were done. We asked for the check...left a generous tip of 25% and made for the exit. When the waitress came to take away the plates, she could see that they were full. People don’t just pay that much money for meals and not eat them. She didn’t even ask us what was wrong! I felt it was in extremely poor taste for the owners to just let us leave like that without even attempting to compensate, or otherwise accommodate us in some way. I suppose we should have never ordered seafood from a midwestern steakhouse...but we’ve never had issues before. This was the worst dining experience of my life. The water was even bad. It tasted like it came straight from the sink! You could taste every bit of lead in it. I’ve tried to convince my lady to come back to at least try the steaks, and she is extremely adamant in her opposition. We paid just about a hundred and fifty dollars (not including tip) for the worst hour of our year. Never again! Sorry Casa Mia...you’ve made our “Never to Patron Again) list. That experience was deplorable, and you guys did nothing!...
Read moreWe made reservations for 8pm . Arrived at 8pm and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Even though there was an empty table in the main dining area. Then we were seated in a heavy trafficked area right next to where they stack the plates. So it was really loud and distracting. The server took quite some time to take our order. We were ready to order , ordered our appetizer platter sampler. It was pretty much all onion rings and pickles. Barely anything else. I ordered the new York strip she ordered the tortellini. Hers was full of water . Obviously not drained well after boiling it. My steak was to be well done . I even asked for them to cut it down the middle before bringing it to me to make sure it was done. I received it and cut into it as it wasn't. It was medium at best. Sent it back and of course it came back extremely dry. The owner/cook came out and was extremely loud talking to other guests and eventually asked us how everything was . I told him about my steak . He stated that he didn't have all night to cook it the way I wanted it . I stated if it was done correctly the first time it wouldn't have been so dry. He stated it would have been dry no matter what . I've gotten and cooked steaks myself well done and not dry . The waitress also wouldn't take our order when we stated we were ready to order when we ordered our appetizer. Definitely not a good experience here . As it was our first time and was valentine's day . I wouldn't recommend this place at all . At least until they change their attitude and learn to cook the correct way. Also the seat was unbearable as seen on...
