It's an interesting place. Run down, old commercial building, turned into a restaurant. Outside is a dump, inside it's actually very pleasant. I do like the staff, but barring accurate descriptions of their food, I do feel they could inform you better about what the dishes consist of. I love duck. But nowhere was it indicated that i would have a single small duck leg instead of a decent amount of sliced duck breast, which is typical for this dish. Seems like a small thing, but when you're spending $100+ for very little food, those details matter. That being said, the green Curry was excellent. The shumai or "shumay" as they spelled it, was nothing like any shumai I've ever had. Very small, I mean, smaller than a meatball, so don't expect traditional size shumai. You'll be shocked. Extremely expensive, but I have to admit quite tastey. Not the best, but good enough that I'd try this place one more time & ask a lot more questions. The cocktail my wife had was also very good. But if you are in the Napoleon area and are looking for Asian food, then this is perhaps your best bet. However, if you go 40 minutes East to Toledo, you can spend $35 for AYCE Korean BBQ & "hot pot" at Top Pot, and get way better food and very generous offerings and a...
Read moreIf you go prepare for small portions, wait staff that doesn't check on you, and keep a close eye on your receipts after you give them your card to run. We had problem after problem here. The first issue was we both ordered steak and shrimp hibachi. The waiter did not ask how we wanted it cooked or anything. When it came out we had 4 shrimps total on our plate and that was all. We accepted it and moved on. We were disappointed in the serving size for being the same price as one that cooks in front of you, you get a significantly smaller portion of food. Problem number 2 was our bill. when he gave the receipt we looked over the total and it was correct so we gave our card. When it was returned and we just needed to sign we looked again and it was $12.87 higher than the original receipt. The manager said they charged us double for tiramisu only problem with that was it was not on the original receipt and we DID NOT order or have tirumusi. On top of this the waiter did not check to see if anyone needed a refill or if we liked the...
Read moreWe dined at Ninja last night. It was very disappointing! We waited several minutes at the hostess desk before anyone acknowledged us even though at least 3 different employees looked right at us. Our server seemed very pleasant but we had to ask for utensils and waited at least 10 minutes for those. Our side of steak came out before the appetizer and my husband's salad was never brought out and we had to ask to have it removed from the bill. We were never asked if we wanted refills for our beverages. The food was not up to their usual quality. The steak was overcooked and yet several pieces were cold. My basil fried rice was ok but not as good as it usually is and the shrimp in it tasted old. My husband got the chicken noodle Ramen. It was bland, so bland it didn't have any flavor at all! The boom boom shrimp was great and the clear soup was delicious. We have dined there several times, and this is the first time we've experienced such poor service and inconsistent...
