Food pretty good, "manager" not even close to good. When I approached the alledged "Manager", he was leaning on the counter behind the register, staring through the filthy dining room, outside. "Manager" with chains lost it when I told him there was not 1 clean table for arriving guests and asked him to send someone to clean the tables. His excuse was that he just got there. A total lie. I watched him for at least 20 minutes, joking with his boys. He just stood there as they horseplayed 2 feet from him.
Him, plus 4 others behind the line. Not 1 could wipe down tables? Really? One of his "Co-managers" came up and said it was Popeyes responsibility. They had 2 people working. I asked why, when they had 5 people and Popeyes 2; they couldn't help keep their joint dining area clean.
Even the lady running the Popeyes told someone at BK, "you play too much." Evidently, too hard at "work" to bother cleaning a table for his paying customers.
The "manager" with chains had more of a problem with me asking for him to clean some tables, than the fact there were no clean tables for his guests. He said I cussed him. Well, I did say dirty and filthy. Maybe that counts. 🤔
I left a voicemail with the TA Travel Center General Manager. Will update with the reply.
Stand up for your rights as a customer. Don't let lazy workers make you eat in filthy conditions.

Read moreOrdered the Cheesy Melt sausage egg and cheese sandwich. They are supposed to come with 2 slices of cheese on each sandwich. There was one lady working, about 7:30 am 07/23/24, by herself. She did good with what she can, but when we asked for another slice of cheese for our sandwiches, she just kept shaking her head and gave an attitude. Ours only had one slice.
