First off, I tend to be skeptical of food places that are not governed by strict standards of a corporate chain, so it took me a little while before taking a chance on this place. MAN! AM I GLAD THAT I GAVE IN!!! I had coupons for this place sitting around for a little while and kept it in the back of my mind and never threw the coupons out. I LOVE PIZZA and ITALIAN FOOD (this place has pasta, lasagna, submarine sandwiches, salads, wings, cheesy breadsticks and desserts, too) and I have actually grown tired of the standard pizza fare available in this area (itâs all a bit sub-standard). I could tell from the photo of the pizza on the color mailer of their menu that To - Go Pizza made their crust with real dough (not something that arrives in a refrigerated truck every two weeks). I called in my order and the dude on the phone was absolutely accommodating and friendly as I adjusted my order to accommodate my (somewhat picky) family. Ok. This story is getting a bit long, SO⊠bottom lineâŠ. The pizza was fantastic! Just DELICIOUS!!! And the wings were cooked perfectly and were the meatiest, most satisfying chicken wings Iâve ever had in this town!!! HANDS DOWN!!! TO GO is now my âGO TOâ place for the comfort foods that I love! You should give it a try. I have a feeling this place isnât gonna be âmy little secretâ...
Read moreWe found the five star reviews baffling and inaccurate after eating here. For reference, we ordered the fried mushrooms, garlic parm chicken wings, the Nashville star (pizza) and the dessert calzone (Nutella).
Generally, with the exception of the mushrooms, everything was at the level of âso soâ and âforgettableâ weâve come to expect from take-out in TN. Not âoffensivelyâ awful, just not food we want to eat again or would seek out in the future, nor food we care to remember.
The mushrooms were a level below that and could be classified as offensively bad. They were soggy, chewy, and tasted only of burnt coating. Truly very, very bad.
The pizza dough (same dough for the pizza and the dessert pizza) was pretty bland and gave us the impression it wasnât made in-house. The chicken wings wereâŠjust odd, like not very garlic parm tasting, but also not very chicken-y, either. Eating them made me squint and think, âWhatâs happening here?â and thatâs never good.
I would skip it and try really anything else instead. Our total with tip was $56. Too much for such a...

My wife and i love their gf buffalo chicken pizza! Keep up it fellas! We will keep coming back! Id give 10 stars if i could. UPDATE: OCT 4TH 2024 Well that's until the prices became way too high. 5 dollars extra for each topping is absolutely insane. You raised the gluten free crust price, which is fine. I get it. But 5 dollars for pepperoni. 5 dollars for sausage. 5 dollars for green peppers? 15 dollar extra for that. Nope sorry wont be ordering again until that is changed. Its too much. Your pizza is good.....but im not paying 50...
