Doubles – The Hidden Diner Treasure of the Fast-Food Seas (With Extra Quesadilla Plunder!)
Arrr matey, mark me words—Doubles be no ordinary galley slingin’ fried grub on the go. Nay, she be a stealthy diner ship disguised in fast-food sails, and if ye’ve not yet had their jumbo steak quesadilla, ye’ve missed a proper haul o’ golden flavor!
This beast be the biggest quesadilla I’ve ever laid eyes or teeth on—a thick, glorious slab packed with juicy, medium-well steak bits, tender and firm like the perfect ship’s rope. Each bite’s a treasure chest o’ satisfaction, and I say with no shame, this be me new favorite dish to devour after a long voyage or a hard day’s plunderin’.
Doubles feels like the foodie cousin of Culver’s, but with a touch more swagger and a better flavor compass. The vibe walks the plank between fast food and a full-blown diner—and if ye ask this sea-hardened food scout, it’s high time they jump ship entirely and embrace the true diner life.
See, the quality’s already there—leagues above your average quick-bite shack. But the real treasure lies in what could be: if they leaned into that classic diner charm, added a little table service, and let their crew earn tips like proper tavern keepers, they’d be makin’ more gold and servin’ happier deckhands.
Not to mention, ditchin’ the fast-food wage chains could let ‘em chart a new course—lowerin’ prices and goin’ head-to-head with the diners of the land, beatin’ ‘em in speed without losin’ a bit o’ quality.
So here’s me final say: Doubles ain’t just worth a visit—it’s a port ye must dock at. A hidden gem, a quesadilla king, and a diner-in-waiting. All it needs is to raise the flag and claim its rightful place among the greats.
Hoist yer forks, me hearties—Doubles is...

And I am not trying to complain and bash a place because I’m bored Whatever it is that you guys are doing at this particular place at this particular location my stomach is Something is wrong with what you’re doing because I have ordered entirely different stuff. Every time I’ve gotten burgers I’ve gotten fries I’ve gotten salads I’ve gotten breakfast. All delicious I love the food. That’s why I kept going back and didn’t want to believe that that’s where this was coming from. But it is 100% confirmed now that is the only thing I did today that I have consistently done that has gotten me sick. I have gotten massive painful diarrhea every single time I have eaten this food and I only get that occasionally on rare occasions I’m not sick all the time from everything. Please be careful of whatever you’re doing if you’re cleaning or doing too much chemicals or something not getting cleaned out properly, Please address whatever is doing this, because there’s no way...

Whether it’s just variation in supply or the management took my review to heart I can’t say, but either way it’s once again a great value and I’ll keep going back.
Original review I would have given this place a 4-5 star review a week or two ago. The staff is nice, and the food generally is a step up from most fast food joints. I’ve been ordering their chicken strips since the restaurant opened and I love them. I order them every day. Sadly they started comicly large (size of my hand) and a fantastic value, and they keep getting smaller every time I go there. Now these chicken strips are tiny (more like zaxbys strips) and not worth the 16$ price tag.
I get that what they started with was silly (half a breast for a chicken strip) but their current solution feels like an overcorrection, given how expensive they are.
I’ll be getting chicken strips at Publix again since they’re cheaper and larger. Too bad. I really enjoyed this restaurant until they started making the chicken strips more like...
