We first went to Tito's while looking for our first house. It wasn't this one but it was a Tito's. Fast forward a year later, it new home is about 7 minutes away. We were happy with the service, food and atmosphere. About a month before our baby boy was born we had an accident at the table. Our server went above and beyond his call of duty to make sure we had a fresh drink and like a rookie at a bar, not only did I knock my drink over but I knocked my wife's drink over.. we all had a good laugh. Well this week was the best experience. Our son is a chip addict, I mean their chips are really good so I can't deny these treats to him. Since keeping them on the table creates a nuclear reaction from my son when we cut him off, I hid them. First the GM came by and called over this microphone to bring chips, we showed him that we had and was told don't bring any, 2 minutes later another server dropped by and we let her in on the secret and thanked her for being alert. Before our food came out, our server noticed we didn't have any and brought a fresh batch before we could let him know. We all had a good laugh while my son was chomping away on those fresh crispy chips.
Will we ever return? Hell yeah. Thank you for having a great staff and whoever is in the back, thanks for being consistent...
Read moreAfter reading a lot of positive reviews on this place, we decided to pull the trigger on a Friday night - how can you go wrong on Friday night in a Mexican Restaurant right off Nollensville Rd? Right? The restaurans is beautiful, great location, outside seating, Bar, TV's - WOW! We ordered what our waiter suggested: The Queso Fundido as an appetizer - this dish is made with Bacardi Rum, so you get the flame effect (flambe). The problem is, they either put too much rum or the flame burned out too soon not evaporating the rum/alcohol...So what we ended up getting at the bottom of the dish (Chorizo) was a "mush" of chorizo and Bacardi Rum - absolutely awful! Especially for my daughter. Next, we ordered the Fajitas Texanas and the Buritto California. I am sorry to say, please whoever reads this - please fix the food! The Fajitas were BLAND, there was no pop of color on the plate, no sizzle - nothing. The steak was unseasoned, chicken unseasoned - the shrimp was plain...Absolutely awful and flavorless! Chili's does it better! Come on! The Burrito was Blah - nothing more than a microwaved Costco Burrito. I would like to give this place another try at some point, especially since it has such a nice location. Maybe it was a bad night? Maybe it was Friday? Maybe the Chef...
Read moreFood was not edible! It was ridiculously too salty 🤮. The cheese especially. Yes, the cheese and the meat! We told the manager, when he asked and he agreed the cheese was as we said. In his defense he asked if we were OK with it. We just didn't press the matter because we would rather lose money & pay for a bad meal than to be looked upon as a free loaders. We are known as great tippers and reward good food and good service. However, we thought the manager should have stepped up and truly took ownership than to be prompted to do tge right thing, since he ask how the meal was and we tried to give him good feedback, to help them. Most upscale will insist on discounting the meal especially, if they find they feel short in some way. Wven in those circumstances, we will thank them make up the difference by tipping morw to help the servers. It's not their fault. We agreed, we would not be back. To be frank: I never liked this restaurant but came back due to someone else's preference. They now realize what I have always known. There is much better and consistenty good Mexican resturants relatively close by like Chuy's and...
