Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

My family used to stop here occasionally for dinner after church prior to the "event" of 2020. We stopped going here during the "event" as this place clearly suffered from management and staffing issues during the "event" and we discovered a FAR SUPPERIOR chicken place just 20 mins down the road. Last evening, after church, we were really pressed for time and decided that we'd give Zaxby's a try as we hadn't been there in over 4 years.

Atmosphere: The place was empty with no one in it on a Saturday evening at dinner time - not a good sign for any food establishment.

Food: The size of the chicken tenders is laughably small - about the size of a grown man's index finger and were unseasoned and bland, but edible. The portion of fries was astonishingly small - I don't think there were more than a dozen - then I thought maybe they count out 3 fries per tender? Fries were limp and soggy (as I always remembered them) and also unseasoned. The coleslaw was typical mass produced slaw scooped out of a 5 gallon bucket.

You don't get your food served to you on a tray or plate of any kind either. Clearly, the franchise can't staff with competent help/management capable of cleaning trays. So, whether you eat in or take out - you get your order loaded in multiple Styrofoam containers and plastic to-go bags. I'm not a save-the-planet type, but honestly, do we need to be generating unnecessary plastic garbage to sit in a landfill forever?

Overall, a terrible dining experience and we won't be going back. It's clear that the handwriting is on the wall for this Zaxby's to ultimately close - just like the one in Franklin did.

There are other options for food - especially chicken - there is no reason to support a poorly run restaurant serving poor quality food at...

Great place to eat. Food quality is always great. They have THE best grilled chicken sandwich going called the Cajun Club.

The Cajun Club has.... Blackened chicken, bacon, crisp lettuce, tomatoes, Ranch Sauce, and American cheese on a toasted Brioche bun, served with Crinkle Fries and a 22oz. drink.

Tonight, I stepped out of the box and got the Zensation Zalad. It is outstanding. I don't each cabbage but it was great in this salad.

Made to order with our hand-breaded Chicken Fingerz™, freshly chopped mixed greens, red cabbage, carrots and crispy wonton strips, all topped with Asian slaw and drizzled with a honey sesame glaze. So why no 5th STAR?

They got rid of the pump ketchup machine and you now have to deal with the nasty packets that everyone sticks their hands in.

Rather than give you lemons for your tea from the kitchen, they cut them in VERY small pieces and place them in a public access bowl. Again, ends up very nasty.

If you order their Chicken Fingerz, they take the Zax Sauce packets which are not sterile and traditionally kept in a box in some warehouse after being transported in a cargo truck across the country, and put them right in the box touching your chicken which is kinda nasty. The Zax Sauce is good but should be kept away from the cooked food in containers.

Maybe if they read this revue and fix these...

My daughter just went through the drive-through @ 12:58 Today! I opened up my bag and salad and this is what I see Crawling all through my salad🤮 I wasn’t going to post it on here however when I called to complain Sarah the manager at this location just told me on the phone that she is not going to refund my money and replace the salad that she will just do one or the other😮 She did not even apologize!!! WOW Zaxby’s salads are “Supposed” to be made fresh so I don’t know what Obvious Blind person is plating lettuce with moving bugs 🐜 and sending it out to customers but this Entire location needs a visit from Metro Health Department because they are just flat out NASTY WITH NO SERVICE AT...
