Poblano's Mexican Cafe — Restaurant in Nashville

I am visiting Nashville and this place was recommended to me.

The service was excellent and the waitress that sat us was incredibly kind. That's the only reason for a 2 star review.

The food was dry and lacked flavor, it was all spice. I can handle spicy food, in fact I love it, but it was all you could taste. I ordered mixed fajitas. The steak was so dry that it was like eating strips of jerky. The chicken was impossible to chew.

The chicken nachos were just chips on a plate with cheese and chicken and thrown into a microwave to cook. Again, all spice and hard pieces of chicken.

To those visiting from out of town, save yourself $30 and go to...

Will never eat here again! If I could give zero stars I would. Very run down management.Have had several problems with them but this one takes the cake. Their website says they close at 9 I called 4 times was hung up on and then some person answers the phone with "Hello" so im assuming I have the wrong number then tells me they are closed. Who answers the phone with "Hello" when you are a business. Very unprofessional and has been ran down for years now. Done...

Loud atmosphere, as in unruly customers and no one to keep them in line. Greasy, bland food, subpar service, cheese with the consistency of wet concrete, dirty tables every time we went which is not frequent because of these issues. If they served alcohol it'd be comparable to a dirty pub. We only go here when our favorite Mexican restaurant nearby is closed and we just have a desire for Latino food and are willing to settle for less and regret it...
