Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Nashville

Unfortunately, I had to come back and change my review. I am a usual customer to this establishment. I visit a least twice a week, every single week. The food is not been a problem really. Only, last night on October 21st at 8:02 I completed my order in drive-thru. Upon, checking my order, the chicken best was dried out. I preceeded to go inside approximately 8:07. As I walked in the young lady employee looked at me and walked by me, literally 3 times an never acknowledged my presence while I was holding my take out plate at the counter. The last time she looked at me and walked by, she stopped with her back turned at me an just stood there! I then, said excuse me and she turned around. I asked, I smiled and said my order is not correct. She said ma'am "it's time for me to get off". I was very shocked at the reply and lack of customer service, along with an attitude. I gave her my order, all the time she was lacking customer service. I was able to get another piece of fresh piece of chicken. I even told her thank you, but I was not pleased with my experience with the rude customer service. At that time I asked to speak with the manager, by the name of Davon. I spoke my concerns with him about his employee. I felt, very disrespected and he did offer any resolution at the time. I am a resident of this town of Nashville, this experience makes me not want to support the business anymore...

I got a little of everything because I am a Foodie. A cashier gentleman helped me place my order, and he was so friendly, full of energy and smiles, and so knowledgeable. My first time going to a place and ALL the items were top notch and had a signature taste. Even the sauces! A must try!!! 10 out of 10. I Can Not express enough how much we enjoyed our meal! Fried chicken breast (tender and juicy), leg, thigh (smaller than usual), tenders (never had tenders like this...juicy, lightly breaded, huge size), baked beans, cole slaw, Brunswick stew (needed a bit more salt but very hearty stew), and OMG hushpuppies! We underestimated what things would taste like, and after taste testing in the car, we went back in to order more! Exceptional service from the front and back house, although there was one little girl who wears glasses who seemed less enthusiastic and spacey! Thank goodness she was not my first impression. Because we ordered so much food, we had ample leftovers, and "Yes Ma'am", next day warm up was a hit! Can't wait to drive again from middle Georgia through NC for this...

No clue what was going on here. Tried to place 3 individual orders (three combos one for each) at the drive thru. They refused to do more than one transaction at the drive thru. This took place during covid. They told us we'd have to come in to place three orders. We were trying to prevent going in to limit exposure. We ended up going inside to place our 3 orders (basically same as if done at drive thru window) but this was at 8pm at night and they were very slow. There was us and one other customer at the time. Just seems like they wanted to intentionally make it difficult. I only eat at Smithfield chicken and BBQ maybe once a year when majority rules in my group so I don't want this review to be taken out of context. This is not a review about their food as I don't like it personally but more about the customer service and how crazy this scenario played out.
