Wizard's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Nashwauk

We visited on Saturday morning for breakfast, we arrived at 10:15. It wasn't packed, but there were a few tables that were full. Nobody had received their food yet. We had a table of 6 people. All adults. 3 of us ordered drinks right away as we waited for the others to arrive, when our waitress Ashley brought our drinks after a good 10 minutes, she didn't ask our other members of the party what they wanted to drink. Took a while for her to come back to them and when she did she decided to take our food order as well. They had a summer menu advertised on a chalkboard as well as a special insert in the menu and had apple pie as an option. One guest ordered a slice for the end of the meal. It took until the last 5 minutes of us being their for our waitress to say they were out of pie. The mozzi sticks were great for a starter. The sausage links were cooked perfectly, even with a little crisp to them, hash browns and eggs were cooked awesome. The French toast had zero flavor. Had to request syrup. The wait time and service was pretty ridiculous to be honest. Typically the food is better than it was this particular day. We didn't get out of there...

Really disappointed in the current staff that has been hired. They are rude, not helpful, and truly seem to not give a ** about customers. We ordered food, it was excellent but the salad was missing for one of the meals. When my mom addressed she hadn’t received her salad yet, the blonde girl covered in tattoos laughed about it and tried to make the situation into a joke or like it wasn’t important. The other tall blonde is unwelcoming, walked past us when we were asking for refills on drinks, just no care in the world. Poor work ethic and customer service. ONE STAR FOR FOOD SERVICE- I like the people that work here, they are great! But the food service is the worst of any resturant I have ever eaten in, If there is one or two large tables seated, be prepared for a 1-2 hour wait. My understanding is that the kitchen/grill is too small. If you get there early, you should have no problems. They give you alot of food, and it is not bad. If you sit at the bar, you might get waited on sooner- but you will still have to wait your turn for the food.But Geezer! Probibly my last time eating there. -Sorry.
