La Lomita Mexican Grill — Restaurant in National City

I seriously don't see why they have such good reviews, the roll tacos had a pinch of shredded cheese on top not melted what so ever & the price for them is ridiculous 6 for $12. I tried returning them & the cashier who has such a fake big smile that looks very similar to this emoji👨🏻 I kid you not. Anyways he said he wasn't even able to give me a refund at all!!!! I never experienced this in my life Ive always been able to get refunded especially for food that I didnt even touch at all. He also tried smart mouthing me on why the cheese wasn't melted at all. I was very excited to try them because they're supposedly the most popular on the menu. To top it all off, they should be glad I didn't rant and complain about the carne asada fries. I was already annoyed and my girlfriend and I were starving so we ate them & the whole time I was wishing I had just went to Hermanos in National City instead of trying something new. update-things have changed customer service is horrible & order accuracy has tanked!! If you ask for not pico on your meal they will do your entire order no veggies. Twice this has happened to the point of no lettuce no cabbage no gucamole all because i asked for no pico de gallo. Due to these reoccuring order mistakes ive had to stop coming here. Plus one lady straight up unpluggs the phone during her shift so you cant even call in an order half the time. Wack and sad! Best Mexican food around here! I know there's alot to choose from but if you haven't tried La Lomita then your just missing out no question about it! Everything I've tried has been delicious !! Love the fish tacos & rolled tacos. & tortas & quesadilla supreme.!! I usually have a hard time deciding between those. Just today it had to bump into someone like that 😤 ‘ I always come here with no problem I love the food here !!!!! && today some lady the cashier (older tall lady with long black hair ) had an attitude like if she doesn’t wanna be there why even have her there !!!enjoy your job and be happy!
