The absolute best seafood boil restaurant I've ever been to. Small mom & pop shop with amazing customer service, amazing prices on every menu item, and very thoughtful and speedy staff. It was my second time dining there because it was so excellent the first time I had to bring my Husband. After one weekend of him being reluctant to go, he was obsessed once he stepped foot in the restaurant after saying outside, "we're going to take the food to-go babe" and without saying a word within 3 seconds of stepping into the establishment, we were seated at a very clean and prepared booth. He wasn't sure what to order and our waiter offered drinks and then food suggestions for him and within 2 minutes we had ordered, with no rush, and within 6-7 minute our food was brought to the table with fresh lime slices, and a basket with salt and pepper, crab crackers, and forks. Our drinks followed. The experience of the God-speed service, taste the food, and the low bill for the delicious food we had just indulged in was the cherry on top. Hubby wouldn't stop saying how amazing the food was and how he would be back and had to tell everyone about it and have them come done. It was nice seeing him so happy and excited and it's pretty hard to get full off seafood but one bag and that did the job for both of us, which usually isn't the case. P.S. First time I was about 7 weeks pregnant and visited the establishment, I recieved the same high quality service, speed, and satisfaction. I was happy and so was baby:) This time was the same baby was jammin' in there eating good! Also for my preggo mamas: the mild is perfect if you don't eat spicy things while pregnant, although there isn't much proof it does anything to baby, I like to be on the safe side;) Hope this helps! 10/10 recommend!!! Read moreOk, now that I have whittled the Boil down to a few crawfish, sausage, and one potato, I can tell you a little something about it.
If you live in the area (or visiting) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this quaint little unassuming spot with powerful boil combos and seafood options (see food disappear - yeah, my 🌽-y attempt at a play on words 😎).
Actually, The Ace Crab, reminds me of a small spot I went to in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, with a local. I tend to believe it's these little family owned spots that know how to focus on the quality of the food vs. being mainstream and overboard on aesthetics. Food = INCRED!
They definitely maximize their revenue by keeping it super simple. It is as basic as it gets but EXTREMELY CLEAN (bathroom, kitchen, EVERYTHING)! Personally, I will take clean over fancy any day. It only seats 44 people and if you go during early supper hours (2p - 4p) you're good to go with plentiful seating.
The price ($40) for my SSK Combo was more than fair, it included 2 King Crab legs, 1/2 Snow Crab, 12 Shrimp, 4 Red Potatoes, 1 ear of 🌽 (broke in 1/2), 2 spicy sausages (from what I could tell), finely cut. #PERFECTION I ordered mine plain, the sausages released the perfect amount of seasoning for my taste. You are welcome to pick your sauce and choose your spice. Go for it!
The Ace Crab nailed it!

You order the seafood first, and order according to the amount of pounds you'd like (example: 1 lb of king crab legs, and so on). Second, select your sauce flavor (I recommend the "Aces"). Third, select your spice. Options are Other items can be orderer separately.
They put the 3 steps selected above into a giant bag and serve it to you. The tables are covered with paper and no plateware is set-up. You are given a bin and gloves, and the food is eaten from the bag, and the shells are left on the table.
It would be great if they had buckets or a container that held your empty shells. The food is very messy, hence the bib, gloves, and paperlined tables. But the food is so-o-o-o good!!
Four star was given because the servers had to be asked more than twice to bring you items you ask for. I'd come again despite the servers lack of attention because the food is...
