My recent visit to Kujo Eats in National City was an absolute delight for my taste buds! This hidden gem offers a truly authentic Filipino dining experience that left me craving for more.
The Sisig was a perfect blend of crispy and savory, with just the right amount of zing from the spices. Itās undoubtedly one of the best Iāve ever tasted, and I canāt wait to have it again.
The Lechon was heavenly - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. It was like biting into a piece of Filipino tradition. I couldnāt resist seconds!
The Beef BBQ Rib was a meat loverās dream come true. Juicy, succulent, and marinated to perfection, it was a true highlight of the meal.
The Sinigang was a comforting bowl of tangy goodness. The balance of flavors in this traditional Filipino soup was spot on, and it complemented the other dishes beautifully.
To top it all off, the rice was fluffy and the portions were generous. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance only added to the overall experience.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreA fellow Yelper recommended me this place. She said if you like Filipino food, check out Kujo Eats, itās not as salty. Very true, itās not as salty. This place has potential, they just need more time to grow and perfect their dishes.
We got two plates of 2 item combo. The portions are generous.
-pancit with chicken adobo and longganisa -fried rice with sisig and lechon -side order of sinigang
The sisig was wet not dry and crispy like Iām used to. It also had a lot of citrus calamansi flavor. The fried rice was better than other Filipino places.
We had asked for other items that we saw on the party tray menu like kaldereta but they said they havenāt perfected it yet so itās not being sold as an individual item. But yet itās being offered as a party tray? That was odd.
I would come back after a year or so. We didnāt get the chance to try their desserts. They claim to have the best halo...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped in yesterday to kill a Lumpia craving and was SO pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. Everything was delicious and the women behind the counter were so kind and patient. I donāt have a ton of experience ordering Filipino food so I had a lot of questions but I definitely was steered in the right direction because I LOVED my food. And the soup was so good Iāll be dreaming about it. I got the special thatās $11.99 one item and a side (which I got half pancit half rice) the portion was so generous I got three meals out of it. We also couldnāt resist the thriftyās ce cream for $1.99. Unbelievable prices and even better food. Canāt wait to come back and try...
