Giuseppe's Italian Pizzeria — Restaurant in Naugatuck

I been going to this restarant for over five years now. They have a great menu. There homemade pasta is my favorite. They run a great daly special thru the week, if you buy any size pizza you get a free pitcher of beer! The beer is cold and really hits the spot. They have 5 booths abd about 6 tables. There are two doors, one for dine in (left) and takeout (right). They have the dining area setup to seat yourself. There is no need for reservations unless you have a party of five people or more. There is also a few highchairs for children. There bathrooms are very clean, one for men and one for woman. The bathrooms are a self serve setup. They have a tv in dining area and one in the takeout area. You can easly see the pizza ovens and can watch the clean wait staff cook your food. They are located in the end of a strip mall and has a large parking area. I do find that the parking lot does get crowded quickly on weekends and also during the week after 5pm. There is usually only two servers per shift but they are very prompt with service and the food is also very reasonably priced. The last time I was there we ordered a large cheese pizza, a kid size mac and cheese, a side of carrot, and 2 sodas and one Apple juice. The price for the completed meal, not counting the tip was $27.......... that is truley a great price. Please stop by sometime and give them so business. It is always good to support your local business...

I’m very disappointed. I ordered Chicken Marsala and was given something that looked and tasted like pasta with butter and mushrooms... definitely NOT Chicken Marsala. There was no brown Marsala wine sauce in sight. I even called to ask for a side of the sauce, thinking it was forgotten, and the worker handed me a container of what seemed like plain butter sauce with a straight face. It felt like a joke.

The chicken was clearly frozen and tough, the pasta overall was so salty and overall the dish was nothing close to what Chicken Marsala is supposed to be. I’m really unhappy with this experience. This isn't my first bad experience here I get a very passive aggressive vibe from the staff. None of them look like they want to be there. Like you can't be serious giving me a cup of seasoned butter? That should've been my moment to just go ahead and refund but I hadn't ate anything yet! Being hungry for so long and having to eat crappy food that you spent your hard earned money is the worse. It's a different type of disrespect when they don't care for their product. I would be embarrassed to sell such a disaster. That would never be leaving my kitchen. I seen this is a trend. Bad...

Cucumbers in salad had that clear ring around the edge showing they had been frozen, cherry tomatoes were about a day away from being rotten. Waited an hour for a side of meatballs , fries and lasagna. Meatballs were lukewarm, sent back to be heated and they just put hot sauce on them. Fries were okay, tasted of dirty oil. The lasagna was literally inedible. Definitely previous frozen, which i think is why it took an hr to receive,.. the noodles were an overcooked, gluey mess. Waitress never came back ( dont blame her ) so never had a chance to say anything or order something else. The cook ( or owner? ) walked by our table twice on his way to get a blue gatorade out of the cooler, saw it not being ate, and just avoided us. Asked for it to be removed from the bill, which they did so and then were extremely rude to us when we walked to the counter to pay ( couldnt find the waitress AGAIN ).. this was on saturday, 2/18/23.... oh, and ordered a 12 oz glass bottle of soda and was never given or even offered a...
