Tucked away on a quiet street, I wandered into a small, unassuming barbecue joint with nothing flashy at first glance—no neon signs, no curated playlist pulsing in the background. Just the hush of good smells and the hum of a place that knew exactly what it was doing.

I ordered a spread that felt like a Southern blessing: a hamburger stacked just right, golden fries fresh out of the fryer, crispy fried okra that tasted like someone’s grandma was working the kitchen, and a shredded brisket sandwich so tender it nearly whispered stories from the pit.

And that brisket—fat-free. Not trimmed with hesitation, but with intention. I’m picky, and I don't play with fat in my barbecue. This? Pure meat, pure joy.

I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s just say their smoked meats are unbelievably good. They know what they’re doing here and we can’t wait to go back! Such amazing food and friendly staff! We got brisket, pulled pork, and chicken for our meat choices and honestly, it’s the best I’ve ever tried. Do NOT miss out on trying this place!! You’ll be glad you did. You’ll wait about 15 minutes for your food, but it’s worth every second. They are busy and their delicious food seems to be in demand. I highly recommend their Mac n cheese, it’s downright sinful. Great green beans, also! Their iced tea is the best I’ve ever had! And that’s saying a lot because I’m very picky about my iced tea. 😂 Their sauce is soooo good! The service was amazing & the food was even better! My picky 10 year old, who thinks he’s Gordon Ramsey, loved the fish and shrimp plate! He usually eats like a bird, but he TORE IT UP!! We had brisket (that was falling apart), ribs, jalapeño + cheddar sausage and for sides we had ranch potatoes, potato salad, baked beans and Mac & cheese.
