This place is too expensive for ice cream. I’ve never paid $12.32 for two smalls of chocolate marshmallow ice cream with sprinkles. And it’s nothing special. Turkey hill ice cream at the store is definitely way better than this. That’s crazy. I don’t know how much the sprinkles were but they put like a few on top. If you’re going to charge for sprinkles maybe you can actually put the amount worth the cost. Take my money but don’t give enough product. Don’t go here. It’s just too expensive for ice cream.

I absolutely love this place! The flavors are always unique and delicious. Their doggy ice cream is so cute and my dog always enjoys it. The bone this time was very soft so that’s good for people with older dogs that can’t have crunchy bones. Can’t beat their prices either!

Well I have to agree with other reviews that I have read here. Used to come in here and meet a very friendly pleasant staff. However, lately I have stopped a few times and been met with young workers with additudes and snotty service. My thought was I wonder why the owner is putting up with this, if he even knows? Then yesterday I stopped in and the owner was the only person there. I brought my grandkids and daughter in law and my own adult children. He was absolutely miserable! The youngest wanted to get a flavor that I knew he wasn't going to like but it looked cool so you know they want it, I asked for a sample, 25cents for a mini spoon with a half teaspoon of ice cream on it! Absolutely ridiculous!! I could see if we weren't buying 6 ice creams and some snacks (chocolate covered pretzels $2.50 for a bag which we threw out they were so stale) but we were ordering a lot of stuff! when I asked him about what type of cookie was in the cookie monster ice cream he told me come back at night and ask the girls he doesn't eat ice cream. Well no Thank you I will go elsewhere "at night" and get some friendly service to go along with my ice cream which is a shame cause the ice cream is good but I'm not going to put up with...

I would give zero stars if it was possible.. I’ve been here one time before and service was nice.. it was a couple young girls behind the counter that day..

Today I went in with my children and my significant other ( let me make it clear that I am a black woman with biracials kids and a white partner).. the first rude moment was when my 5 year old asked for ice cream in a cup but than changed her mind as he put the first scoop in.. the owner, who happened to be the only one in the store and serving us, proceeds to tell us oh well it’s too late. She’s getting a cup.. I replied that was fine and asked if she could just have the cone placed in the cup.. then my 7 year old was asking him the different kinds of ice cream and he got so rude and impatient and told her to read it herself. I then advise my seven year old to ask me instead since he’s being rude. The owner then starts to argue with me and say he wasn’t being rude and if I feel that way just Pay for the ice cream I already got and leave.. and that he doesn’t need my kind of business... I simply paid for the ice cream and told him I hope god blesses him and wished Him great day.. I will never go there again.. and def won’t recommend...

Let me start off by saying that I love sunset ice cream, and in years past I've only had good experiences at Didas. I also hate leaving bad reviews for local businesses. I stopped here on 8/20 and was greeted by the most unpleasant and rude workers. They must hate their jobs or something. The girl at the window was pretty much throwing the ice cream orders out of the window at the patrons and walking away. She said the bare minimum amount of words to take the order and was extremely unwelcoming and her facial expressions made me feel like we were just bothering her. I ordered a vanilla shake and what I got was a 6 dollar cup of milk with an unblended scoop of ice cream at the bottom of the cup. My girlfriend got a sundae and she said it was "just ok" (the reason for 2 stars instead of 1). When I stopped here earlier in the summer, the ice cream tasted freezer burnt. I know good help is hard to find, but having customer facing employees that visibility hate their job is not a good look, and a quick way to lose business. I'll give this place another shot and see if there are any improvements in...
