Fratello's Pizzeria and Italian Kitchen — Restaurant in Nescopeck

Treats elderly people as if their not even there, overcharges on orders, charges a surcharge on debit cards. Rude to costumers, when question on surcharge one lady. According to the law they are to tell you when paying by credit card there is a surcharge and they don't there were no signs stateing there was a surcharge when I went in to pick up my order. Yet when i called them when i got home and realized the total was not adding up. My bill with tax should of been 29.10 Not 35.32. That when on the phone they started with the surcharge.the lady on the phone said there was a 5% surcharge and then a lady in the back round yelled no its 3%.I said why did you not tell me that I would of went to RT he bank and got the money.her reply well theres a sign that says we charge a surcharge. Then said oh we do owe you money. 4.35 cause we over charged you. So back we go. When I tried to talk to this so called new owner she said no one going to tell her how to run her business and when I went back in there was now a hand written sign placed way below the cash register that says we charge a surcharge for credit cards. Nothing mentioned about debit cards. This business is in violation. Took offence when they got caught ripping of someone. On top of it all we did not even get a receipt showing our purches. All we got was the credit card receipt. I've ordered from this place since 2014 and never has anything like this happened. My order was not even correct. But, that was minor to the over charge. What a way to run a business by ripping off your customers. So since they don't tell you in there business that's there is a surcharge weather it's a credit or debit card do they tell there customers of this surcharge when they call in for there order to be delivered? I was told no. This is a shotty business best...

EDIT. Good food, nice people, and a comfortable dining area. I recommend the cheese steak. Been frequenting this place a lot and i have to say, absolutely the kindest and best restaurant in Nescopeck, and very possibly Berwick. They sell themselves short calling it a pizzeria, the pizza is good dont get me wrong, but the subs, oh my god the sandwiches. I will put them against any other "sub shop" in the area with confidence. Do yourself a favor, try the Franco burger, it will change your life. The loaded fries are to die...

We have passed this place many times on our trips to Berwick. We saw the NEPA pizza review and knew we needed to try it. We got pizza, stromboli, lasagna and Italian wedding soup. My Mom ordered a Sicilian pizza. Everything was delicious! You can tell that everything is homemade with quality ingredients.
