It took me a couple of weeks to write this review because I could not believe how terrible this meatball sub was or how horrible of a response I received from the place. One of the items we ordered was a meatball sub with bread on the side. I received in a container, 2 plain tiny meatball like 1 1/4 inch round that also tasted like frozen meatballs, a small dipping size cup of sauce on the side and a handful of shredded mozzarella! Oh and a sub roll. After I looked at it for 10 minutes thinking it was a joke, my sister called only to be told cut the meatballs in half that would make 4 pieces! Ordered via Slice. Was quoted 45 min for delivery. An hr and 30 min later we call to see what's wrong, they say it will be there "shortly bc the driver left 10/15 min ago". Showed up 15 min later.(a total of 2 hrs from placing the order) Both hot subs were cold and the smoothie was room temp and melted. Called, I was told I would get something free next time, I said there wouldn't be a next time I wanted a refund. I was told to "call the company" and then was hung up on. I am pleasantly surprised by Pizza express. I ordered for the first time tonight. The pizza was good, definitely one of the better in this area (they got the dough right!). The baked ziti was very good- sauce was seasoned well & they actually use ricotta instead of just slapping a bunch of cheese on it on top of pasta and throwing it in the oven and calling it baked ziti. However, the meatball sub was chintzy with one meatball cut in half on each side of the hero (you guys call them subs).
