Worst service ever!!! I ordered food from this establishment, repeated the order 3 times and still they got it wrong. So we called, explained they gave us the wrong food and asked them to make the correct order and I would pick it up. I get there and the gentleman behind the counter (he announced himself as the owner) began to argue with me. I ordered chicken tenders, they gave me wingd and he tried telling me they were the same thing! They're on the menu as 2 different things and I also know them as 2 different things. As he is arguing with me there is a man and woman sitting at a back table. They were speaking another language as they were giving me and my daughter nasty looks. They then finally go in the back and make our food. After they give it to me, I try to ask the owner why he gave me such a hard timr. He replied "he didn't, it wasn't him, he just got there" are you kidding me? Then who I was I speaking to the entire time?!?! As I'm walking out the door, the lady that was sitting there is looking directly at me, again speaking to me in another language, as I say I'm never bringing my business here again, she raised her hand and in a deep manly voice yells "F@#K YOU" at me!!! I'll definitely be calling corporate tomorrow! As I read the response from the lying owner...of course I'm going to be argumentive. THE OWNER WAS GIVING ME A HARD TIME. His employee got my order wrong even after I repeated it 3 times!!! The owner also allowed his wife to speak to me with foul language. I said nothing about your other customers so once again, another lie. I see there bad reviews this place received from both locations, I should have read them before being verbally abused and aggravated at this poorly ran...
Read moreOMG, you get five stars for the five perfect Thermo Nuk BBQ wings!!!! WOW. Everything about them was perfect. I actually ate them on the way home and cried the whole ride! They are eye watering hot, but definitely reasonably so. They give you that GOOD hot, that actually taste good while burning out your taste buds. (don't judge me for eating wings while driving, lol, I was starving).
I also grabbed 10 Traditional Death. These were also good wings. In both cases, the wings themselves are cooked perfect, not too juicy, not too dry. I couldn't have done it better myself. I hate wings that are under cooked. I see a few folks complaining about 'dry'. I'll always have crispy and wet, over gross, soggy wings. YUK! Who are you people who like soggy wings? Anyway, back to the Traditional Death. They are pretty hot, but this sauce lacks the enjoyable taste. More heat, than taste. Wasn't nearly as good as Thermo Nuk wings. Still good, but...
Can't wait to go back again! If Cluck U proves consistent, this place will be my new fav! I've avoided wings for the most part, as most places can't cook a wing worth a damn. I end up doing my own wings. NOW, I hope to leave the wing cooking to you guys!
Keep up...
Read moreWe were very excited to try the wings here based on the high reviews we saw on Google. Sadly, it was not all it was cracked up to be. The gelatinous goo that was used to coat the "cheesy fries" was a sad reminder of my junior high skating rink days. It tasted like mushy, warmed-over, softened, sad, cheese whiz-like mush. The "mac-n-cheese" was 8-ounces of viscous disappointment. The consistency of the "cheese" was sadly reminiscent of the glue sticks used in elementary school classrooms around the country. The "mashed potatoes" tasted much like the potato flakes used in schools across America. Not to mention the breaded mess called "wings". The texture was like a glorious chicken wing, wrapped in cotton balls, deep fried, and then left out to soak up all the moisture from the Hudson Bay. Such a letdown. The only real redeeming part of the entire meal was the biscuits. The gentleman in the store was very...
