Can you give a ZERO rating? We'll see if it let's me...SAVE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY!!! I know there are not many options in Jackpot for places to eat but this place was terrible! Service was bad. It took our large group over an hour to get our drinks. 40 minutes after we ordered 4 got up and went and ordered drinks from the casino and got theirs before the rest of us. The salads came out after the meal, which there was no place for them by that point so I don't think any of us actually ate them. My sisters Birthday steak was cold as were others. My other sister and her husband received their food and drinks after the rest of us had finished our food, which they screwed up! He never did get the shrimp that was supposed to come with the steak and they messed my sisters SALAD up! When we asked to speak with a manager she came over rolling her eyes at us. She was completely rude and gave 2 sh%&# about actually rectifying the situation. She said she was going to come back and never did so we asked to speak with the manager again and same thing. They threatened to call security on us which was absolutely ridiculous because we were all staying pretty dang calm considering. Many of us have been servers ourself. We didn't want meals comped (except for my sisters and her husband's) but we would have liked an apology and maybe a little customer service, not had security called because of the managers and security guards little "click" that they apparently have going on that we were told about after the fact. Not only are we not going back to eat here but our large group has all decided we will never be staying at Cactus again either. We went to Bartons the next day. Service and food was amazing!! I'd definitely recommend them. Looks like Wildhorse it is!!!! Oh and please don't bother responding to this. I saw your response to my sister. I'm only writing this so others are aware of our awful experience..... dang it, 1 star it is....

They have a new cook who desperately needs training. He didnāt know how to make the Monte Cristo. He was shown by another cook but he doesnāt have handle on temperature. The inside was stone cold. One of the pictures shows unmelted Swiss cheese in the middle. However as usual they tried to make it right. There is hope but for now I canāt recommend stopping unless youāre feeling patient and or really hungry.
Best Monte Cristo Iāve ever had. So many new places call a croque monsieur/madame a Monte Cristo, and I am so glad the Desert Room actually delivers the deep-fried concoction it sells. This is a must try in my opinion. I have been holding off on this because this place has been hit or miss. Sometimes it takes a minute to find someone, but Alfredo always tries to get you settled. Service may take a while longer but food is always hot. And food is rarely bad, but they will always...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe've eaten at the desert room many times over the years so I want to preface this review with the fact that the service is always outstanding and the wait staff are hard working and attentive. That said the food was largely inedible this visit. My husband's French dip was dried out old meat on a stale hot dog bun. The fries were clearly old fries that had been reheated. My English muffin was not only burnt but also stale. Eggs, sausage and hash browns were fine. Coffee was good but my cup had a hair. Overall unpleasant food experience but again the front of the house service was still top notch and we don't fault them for the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen. Hoping it was just an off day because we'll be back for the double r...
