We're looking for a special place for lunch, found this one on the Lake. The atmosphere was fantastic, I didn't have much expectation on the food, but the food indeed was very good. My kids also had lots of fun feeding the fishes and ducks too. The prices are reasonable, I highly recommend this place!

The boat house is a hidden gem that was an excellent start to our Vegas trip. The food was tasty, but the real highlight were the people and the ducks. The staff were very friendly and the ducks kept coming up to us to get food. Which we shamelessly gave them. I highly recommend the boat house.

The ambiance cannot be beat!! Prices are very reasonable, service is always great, and the view is AMAZING!!! You can dine on the dock as well. Breakfast is a great deal and their club sandwich is just like they used to be make them. Burgers delicious as well.

Name on my receipt lists Caitlin D. My server was a taller, younger female with light brown hair. I am 5’9 for reference.

After entering the restaurant I was greeted within 1 minute which is good. Once I was greeted I asked if I could sit outside on the patio. She replied “Yes.” Handed me a menu and said she would be right out. A little over 10 minutes go by, other patrons have been served their food and checked on, some new patrons have been seated and served drinks and I still have yet to have my order taken by my server. Not so good. I was under the impression the person who I was greeted by was just the hostess, but she was in fact my server as well. Given the slow traffic there were only two servers who both greeted and seated guest as they came in.

As someone who’s worked professionally as a sushi chef in the food service industry for over 10 years I know good service from bad service. Good service would mean guest are greeted and/or served within 5 minutes max. Whether that be them just walking into the restaurant or if they were just seated. After noticing no one was coming to take my order after 10-15 minutes I just went ahead and walked back inside to make my order. Now this is more a speculation than fact, but it is something that I noticed. Other guest who were of a lighter skin complexion were greeted, seated and were asked about drinks at the very least within 2 minutes of them arriving and after they were seated. Interesting.

As for the food I just ordered the garlic parmesan fries and a beer off tap opposed to the extensive order I had pre planned given how the service was preceding. The fries had good texture. Soft and moist on the inside. Crispy on the outside. The parmesan was tossed in at just the right time allowing it to melt down to just the right amount to stick to the fries but still hold enough firmness for added varying texture. In terms of flavor, for myself it was on the saltier side. But was still pleasant to eat when washed down with a nice cold beer off tap.

Whenever I go to a new restaurant I’ve never been to I always look up the menu prior and have my order predetermined and I always tip more than generously being that I understand how much of the food service process can be under appreciated on a daily basis. When I say generous I mean a 100% or more tip. All dependent on the service. The predetermined tab I had made was $37.50 before tax. Which would have meant a $45 tip at a 120%. I tipped $2 for a $14 bill which given the circumstance I think was generous.

The view is really the winner for this restaurant. Though the view can be enjoyed without the service of the restaurant. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend eating at this establishment. Although, absolutely stop by and...

First it was difficult to find, that should have been our first clue. The establishment had a great atmosphere and clean. Wait staff were friendly. I ordered a drink and did not like it, the waitress was kind enough to replace it with a different one. We ordered the Calamari app, it was ok, the breading was good, but lacking fish. My husband ordered Fish and chips he said the fries were great, but the fish was not good at all. I ordered a Small chicken salad sandwich, the whole thing was dry and not editable. I tried a couple of bites and just could not finish. The apple sauce was good, not too sweet. We went there because it was close to our campsite and I had read that the food was pretty good. Not too sure why they are open till 8 for dinner Service as the Menu is truly meant for lunch, probably boaters coming in on an empty stomach. Also, it seemed to take awhile to get the entrée' as there was only one other table of 2 adults and 2 children. Maybe they do better for their bar scene. Needless to say we were...

Terrible service. We set for 15 minutes waiting on our waitress after we were told to find a place to sit, our food finally came out 40 minutes later without a pizza because they forgot about it and it burnt, so start over. Okay fine. 20 minutes later when everyone else was done eating the pizza comes and isn’t cut anywhere by the edge and just made a huge mess. No one received refills and the breading on the fish wasn’t done. We then sat for 10 minutes waiting on the check after we got boxes, to which we finally had to ask the host as the waitress was next door in the store and we didn’t see her until we were walking out. The food wasn’t worth the price and the food service was terrible. The only good I can say is the view and the fish/ducks...
