Metro Pizza & Sandwiches — Restaurant in New Bedford

Never thought it would come to this. If I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD.

I have been a loyal customer for over 6 years.

But I give my best advice to NOT do business with Metro Pizza and subs, on Belleville Ave. I have been ordering them for YEARS. But the last year or so, EVERY SINGLE TIME I order. My food is never made right and the service is TERRIBLE.

I usually always order a large Greek salad with Chicken. I have been ordering this for 6 years off and on. Since the last 2 years. They never get my order right.

The service is terrible, with ordering, and delivery. Every time a girl delivers, she never gives me back my change, for me to decide to tip her or not, (yes, I know it's the right thing to do. Still my money and my decision). She either takes off, or she has to go back to her car for the change. I've never had any issue with the men though.

Last night was the last straw for both me and my family. Ordered our salads. I called at 5:07pm. I ordered 2 salads, took well over 10 min to order. and then they called back saying they didn't take my card. I waited 40 minutes for them to deliver. Longest I've ever had to wait. Then, when we open our bags, there was no chicken. I immediately called them and spoke to the manager, told them our issue. He said they never took it down with chicken, even though I said it 3 TIMES ON THE PHONE to make sure they didnt mess it up this time!!! He apologized, said he would get our food right out to us.

I expected them to deliver new salads since that is USUALLY the PROFESSIONAL thing to do at EVERY food restaurant, and just take ours back. After an HOUR of waiting. They deliver two small containers of chicken, and then the driver said I owed her $8!!! I had to wait until well after 7:00pm to eat when I ordered shortly after 5!

Finally lost my business. No more chances. Tired of hoping after having to redo my food EVERY TIME I ORDER, they would finally train their staff.

Warning everyone who does or was planning on doing business with them. My sister even goes in there to order and they don't know that they are...

I called to place an order about a month ago, the girl left me hanging on the phone. I called right back to confirm my order and she said yeah i got it. I get there, pay and mentioned how rude and unprofessional she was, and she replied with "Im tired. I said then go home, you dont belong working here or anywhere else. She giggled.Last week I ordered an onion pizza, I picked it up, opened the box at home, every sliver of onion was burnt and didn't even look edible. I figured I'd give them one more chance today, some girl picked up the phone and kept talking, but not to me. I hung up and tried again. She answered the phone again "please hold". I held 9 minutes while I heard her talking to someone there about cars and credit cards. I called a 3rd time went to voice-mail. I placed my order elsewhere. Will never go back. To the owner, you hired terrible and immature staff that are costing you money and your customers are going elsewhere, just like me....

ONCE AGAIN THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE !! CALLED AT 630 ORDERED A PIZZA EXTRA CHEESE COOKED LIGHTLY .TOOK OVER 1 HOUR TO GET HERE. THEN THE PIZZA WAS BURNT DRY AND BARELY ANY CHEESE. WE SENT IT BACK AND CALLED. THEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD REMAKE IT AND SEND IT BACK. 2 HOURS GOES BY STILL NO PIZZA SO WE CALL AGAIN. AGAIN THEY SAID NO ONE TOLD THEM THE PIZZA CAME BACK AND THAT THEY WOULD REMAKE IT AND THAT IT WOULD TAKE 20 MINUTES. SO ANOTHER 15 MINUTES GOES BY.. KELLY CALLS BACK AND SAID THEY WILL MAKE THE PIZZA BUT WE HAVE TO PAY FOR IT.. SMFH.. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME ?? FIRST OFF WE WERE PLANNING ON PAYING FOR IT THE FIRST 3 TIMES ALSO THEY MESSED UP SO MANY TIMES AND NOT TO MENTION WE WERE WAITING ALMOST 2 1/2 HOURS FOR IT.. THE LEAST THEY COULD HAVE DONE WAS GAVE IT FOR FREE BECAUSE OF ALL THE BS WE HAD TO DEAL WITH!! NOT TO MENTION LAST TIME WE ORDERED FROM THERE THE GIRL WHO WAS DELIVERING HIT MY...
