Surfside Creamery (formerly Clark's Point Creamery) — Restaurant in New Bedford

Went here for lunch with my fiance and we'll definitely be going back. The food was great and you get a decent amount for a good price. We shared a hot dog plate (a special they had going on; two dogs with fries) then ordered a second to share which filled us both up. The service was great, went a little skimpy on the ketchup and onions we both wanted but also we didn't specify to put a good amount in so that may have been on us. The atmosphere was okay, outdoor seating with a few picnic tables and a little playground for kids. I think if the tables were more spread apart it would have been a little better and the only weird thing that happened was a motorcycle pulled into the actual seating area and drove between the tables to park inside the fence. There was ample parking so there was no reason for that, especially with little kids around. It's New Bedford so maybe that was "normal", who knows! The food was great, except that I paid for a bowl of Chowder and when I got home it seems that I only got either a cup or the smallest bowl ever for $5.00. I hate to do this because I'm not someone who talks badly about people or places unless it's really necessary and this is, the woman who takes your order seems like she can't be bothered and the man who cooks the food is the rudest person EVER!! I saw him put his hand in a woman's face because she asked how much longer it was gonna take for her 2 hot dogs that she had already waited 30 minutes for and told her, it will be ready when it's ready and when I call you, I'm busy, like so rude and if you can't handle your job or the stress then maybe you shouldn't be there or dealing with the public because he really doesn't belong speaking to or treating PAYING CUSTOMERS...

Me and my family were out for a long walk and decided to go and get ice cream. So we went to the line and fortunately there was nobody there so we ordered and since the begining the girl ordering our food was just disrespectful. She missed one of our orders and said she'd be right on it. So we went on a bench and she was calling out our order we didn't hear her until the second time she yelled and she was just shaking our ice cream to get our attention. So my daughter went to get it for me because I was busy. We started eating it and there were huge chunks of ice still in it. And in my other daughter's cup there was red pieces in her banana ice cream. To be honest, they don't even deserve a star for this. I will not come here again. And I advise you...
