The Acai Spot ma — Restaurant in New Bedford

The over-the-top religious quotes and iconography are a little creepy and off-putting. I could probably overlook that, but when I was there, the one person working was a little abrupt - not exactly rude, but not friendly, either. Additionally, I was a little surprised that a place that essentially specializes in what are effectively fruit smoothie bowls didn't have a single item on the menu that was already vegan - of course there were plenty of items I could order w/ modification, but if a business expects me to part with my money in 2023, they should have at least 1 item on their menu that caters to my needs. The bowl itself, once I had the grumpy employee leave out all the dairy based fixings, wasn't bad. I'm not sure if it was worth the price, but to be fair, I'm still suffering some inflation related sticker shock in general. Over-all, the experience was pretty unwelcoming. I'll likely be back once more, just to give it a fair shake, but I'm not holding...

They were out of almost everything. I drove a bit far to get here so i did not want to turn back. Waited an hour for food with only four people in store. i never write reviews but OH MY, the ACAI is FROZEN and only 8OZ of it for 17$!! WORST ACAI SPOT OF MY LIFE. My girlfriend got a “strawberry refresher” and it genuinely made me want to vomit i think the PRE MADE FROZEN MIX WAS EXPIRED.
