The Pie Shell — Restaurant in New Bremen

Our family has purchased from the Pie Shell when she baked in her own home. We have purchased iced cookies for birthdays, pies for Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthdays and love her scotcheroos.

If I make scotcheroos at home, I will eat nearly the whole pan in a couple of days as I walk in and out of the kitchen. Her portion is shareable with the family but I don’t have the guilt when I keep taking small pieces throughout a weekend.

I have never had even one item that wasn’t delicious.

The Pie Shell cut and delivered pies for my Dad’s celebration of Life. He loved pie so it was perfect to have these delicious pies. The Pie Shell made it special for our Dad and yet convenient for my Mom as she was preparing for the service.

I was visiting the area a few weeks ago - when I walked in I was in amazement at all the selections - I got 2 pies (and it was hard to select - they all looked so delicious) one for a gift and one to take to a meeting - both received high compliments. I also bought some carrot cake cupcakes for myself. I will be back everytime I am in the area to try another pie or two. Totally worth the drive from Tipp. The first thing we noticed upon entering is just how spotless the business is. It was beyond impressive! We’ve had quite a few of their desserts, and all were fresh and delicious. The chocolate peanut butter cupcakes and old fashioned custard pie are the standouts though.
