Delizia Pizza New Britain — Restaurant in New Britain

Delizia...more like Delicizous!!! Do NOT be fooled by the small outside look because this place packs a punch! Unbelievably friendly staff, awesome owner and phenomenal food. This pizza shop goes above for its customers. Just like today, I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and they actually put the chicken in a separate tray so that it does not ruin the salad! I keep wanting to try more stuff but I can not get over their chicken Caesar wrap...its sooo freaking good!!! Fries are crispy and perfect, they make homemade chips that are REAL HOMEMADE POTATO SLICED CHIPS!!! This is like a high end pizza shop but with completely fair prices. I'm pretty sure they have the BEST pizza crust I have ever eaten and ugh...I'm telling you...if your looking up reviews on here its because you are on the fence so I urge you to give it a try...I guarantee you will be happy. I have eaten here about 15 different times now and I have yet to have one bad item or...

Let's start this off by saying that I'm the first to criticize. I grew up in the Philly area, but have lived all over this country, from SoCal to Chicago to KC to Atlanta, and I've had some of the best food in the country. My personal take on Delizia: I've had two pizzas from them. And while they may have been a little too salty for my personal taste, their handling of the ingredients, and overall flavor was excellent (a 4.5 out of 5). My latest was their cheesesteak. My only criticism is that I wish I'd gotten a little more cheese (I went with the American cheese option)... but their roll was fantastic, and the amount of meat (and the cook) was among the best I've ever had! As for their Italian hoagie... all I had to do was take off some of the onions... and it was the best hoagie I've had in three decades! (I'm 63 y.o.) The balance...

This is the second time I’ve gotten takeout from here and I have to say it’s always a wonderful experience. The people are so nice and friendly snd they’re always so helpful. The first time I got the Delizia salad with the chicken on it and it was so delicious! And today I got something as simple as the classic chicken sandwich and Most pizza places give you chicken that’s rubbery and full of gristle but this chicken sandwich was unbelievable! They put a lot of chicken breast on it and it’s cooked perfectly it was nice and tender and had no gristle. The fries were nice and crisp and crunchy too. And the brioche roll that it came on was super delicious. This place is a great little find and awesome for a quick meal on the run. Their pizza I’m sure is great as well I haven’t tried that yet.
