Food has been pretty good , however of occasional visits of patronizing this hot dog stand, only a few times have there not been an issue with consistent pricing.

Today was the last straw on deciding wether to vocalize the frustrations of patronizing this business. Attitude of the manager, Called the customer a “Karen” loudly amongst the other employees when I asked why the price difference again in the same thing I always order. Stated he has plenty of customers so in other words he could care less wether he loses a customer sticking up for his or her right of questioning the inconsistent quoted price.

Undisclosed fee for paying with debit/credit card. A properly run business should state there is an additional fee for using card. However, another time I was there I was told “same price regardless of cash or card”

I’m not the only one, someone else ordered same thing as me and was quoted incorrect higher price even when paying in cash. The person called the supposedly new employee out on it, DD was charging 10%tax $(5.50) instead of $5.35 . Most times it’s $5.33 again regardless of cash or card. They claim it’s the fee for using a card but other times claim it was tax rate.

The other male employee was kinder but stated “it’s only .23 cents. If that’s their philosophy then why charge a customer the card fee? I advised this employee kindly that it should be disclosed and is not good business practice to not disclose and be so inconsistent especially when the issue was brought up in the past by more than me.

question: if the shoe was on the other foot, wouldn’t you be aggravated as a customer of 90% of the time not having an order right or being told inconsistent prices?

There’s more to a successful restaurant or a business than just good food, product or service; it’s how you treat ALL your customers and employees.

Really disappointed in a nice small town establishment treating anybody the way I was treated and the food wasn’t...

Love the drive to Hudson Lake. The best part is getting great dogs here. It's surprising that that trailer puts out amazing food. Lots of choices. We keep saying we're going to try a hamburger or cheeseburger, We hear that they are the bomb. The chicken sandwich is very tasty. The sides won't disappoint. Fries,the bigger cut done perfectly. Mozzarella sticks with ranch or marinara are perfect. Onion rings are my favorite never miss having these delights. We have had the Digzy Dog tater tots. Wow, they are loaded with cheese and bacon. Only cans of pop here. Bring your own ice...

Truck on 39 & 20 is always good, that one deserves a 5 star. Been to the one in Hudson Lake twice, first time was good, ordered basic dogs, ketchup and mustard. Second time asked for custom toppings, wanted 4 dogs with custom toppings, 2 of each kind, read back 2 dogs, said I wanted four dogs not two, that was corrected but the two dogs that were added on were not what I asked for. But when opening one of the hot dogs all the toppings came off with the wrap so it took off the unwanted toppings as well as the wanted ones. Will be continuing to go to the truck on 39 & 20...
