First of all, the back dining area has a gorgeous view of Hudson Lake. Nothing better than relaxing with either just a cocktail from their well stocked bar (at a decent price) or a nice meal, gazing over the lake. Their menu is not that large, but that is good as when menus are overwhelming, usually the food isn't. Their food is very good. My fiance has had the frog legs which are always really good. I have had the bacon blue cheese burger which is to die for! The grilled chicken salad with goat cheese and raspberry vinegrette is delish! The prime rib is always nice and at a good price. The brick oven pizza is pretty good. They have specials daily. Being an implant from Chicago, and been spoiled with many choices of fine dining restaurants, it's hard to find good food out here in New Carlisle. This is the only place where we eat in the area. Otherwise, it's off to Mishawaka. The servers and bartenders are super friendly and make your stay, pleasant! They also have a huge and beautiful hall where they host parties, weddings, and music events. ...

We cannot say enough good things about the quality of service, awesome staff, and delicious food of Monroe's crossing. My beautiful wife and I had our ceremony and reception there on Sept 2, 2017 and they went above and beyond our expectations. They all were very flexible and wonderful to work with during the whole process from planning, setting up, decorating, preparing food, and executing a flawless reception party. There wasn't one thing we asked for that they didn't or couldn't do for us, not to mention the beautiful surroundings and scenery of the whole establishment. We had 220 guests and we didn't receive a single complaint from any of them, only compliments on how good the food was which was made from scratch and how professional and accommodating the whole staff was to everyone. Without any hesitation I would recommend having any function there from big to small. My daughter's bridal shower was there this past weekend. We were set up in their back room that has windows that overlook Hudson lake. They had it set up beautifully for us. They even had a mimosa fountain! The food was delicious and there is a bunch of different foods to choose from that Leslie can do. We had a lot of compliments on the food and service from our guests and the view is so pretty you don't need to decorate the room too much! I have also eaten a couple of times in their restaurant in the front and that food was really good too. They have a neat vintage looking ballroom that they have weddings and other events at that is really reasonable. I wish we would have found that before booking my daughter's venue somewhere else.
