OK, was going to let this go and just let my wife leave her review, but apparently the owner can not accept her honest review of our experience today. We decided to revisit this business after not going for a few years, ordered the fish sandwich and what was described on the menu as "giant" onion rings. The sandwich was actually a very generous portion of fish, and pretty good, but when those "giant" onion rings were delivered we were severely disappointed. The first picture attached to this review was taken of what we received, not what I would, in any way, consider "giant" onion rings. Our server was new, so when we asked if this is what they considered "giant" onion rings she went to get someone who had worked there longer. This person said that they had always been like that but asked if we wanted them taken off the bill, to which we replied we would pay for them since we ordered them, but wouldn't have ordered them if we had known what we were going to get. Now, on the menu, they are described as "giant", which they weren't, and also listed as coming with a choice of two sauces, we did order both sauces as my wife did not want the one I wanted. When the bill was delivered after the meal we were charged for both sauces, on top of the "giant" onion rings. We brought this to the server's attention, who then went to ask someone about it. On their return we were told we were being charged for the two sauces since we ordered them, even though one was supposed to be included, and the person in charge did not want to take anything off the check. OK, now I will admit I was a bit upset and did go back to the kitchen to ask what was going on, since this person in charge would not come out to explain. I brought their menu with me, pointed out that it clearly said "giant" onion rings and the included sauce, to which I was told these were the same onion rings they have always had. I mentioned that it had been a few years since our last visit, but remembered the onion rings being different. I thought they might have been made in house, but was told they never have been. Fine. I said I thought they used to be bigger, I was informed by the owner this was never the case. Now we come to a few of the attached pictures, the first is what we received today, the other pics include what they have posted on their Facebook page, clearly they did use to be bigger, something that might have even come close to being the "giant" onion rings advertised on the menu. Now, in the attached reply to my wife's review, I see the owner saying we "hounded" the servers, which is far from the truth. Yes, we brought our concerns to two different servers, but at no point were we hounding them, in fact we made it a point to repeatedly tell them we understood it was not their fault, and even tipped our server directly with cash to make sure they were not affected by anything that happened between us and management/owners. Since the manager/owner would not come speak with us I did go into the kitchen to speak with them, and when it appeared nothing was going to be done to fix being overcharged for the sauces I said to take the onion rings off the bill or we wouldn't pay for anything. We did pay for everything, minus the $5 discount the owner eventually gave us. If he had just removed the overcharge for the sauce that was supposed to come with the "giant" onion rings we might have avoided this...

The waitress was friendly and Patsy's looked nice on the inside, so I was expecting a good experience. We got the pizza logs as an appetizer and the pizza logs themselves were decent. The marinara served with them had obviously been stored in the fridge with a lid as it was cold and flat on top (due to the lid that had been on it).

I ordered The Amara Burger, which is supposed to be stuffed with cheese with more cheese on top. What came out was a regular cheeseburger - it wasn't stuffed with cheese at all. The burger bun wasn't great and the bottom bun was very thin. The fries seemed like cold McDonald's fries - very thin, limp as if they'd been cooked awhile ago and just sat out. No salt on them either. Ketchup was served in a little plastic cup that again had had a lid on it. The restaurant looked nice enough that I would have at least expected the ketchup (and marinara) to be served in something not plastic.

My boyfriend also wasn't impressed with the fries. He got the Pittsburgh Yinzer with fish and it was "okay", but not...

Out visiting the area while in town racing. Went to this restaurant/grill three nights in a row. Hands down amazing food. Portions are so large, you’re getting your money’s worth for sure. Food has so much flavor… and their ranch is to die for. Will visit when we are back in town again! šŸ˜ Edit: It’s June 8th, 2024 at 8 pm. We swung back in while in town for the races. Food is still to die for. I have attached two pictures from my order tonight. I wish this was closer to home. I’d be here every week. 🤤 Ordered the tortellini carbonara with chicken added and I’m not quite sure of the name of the soup but it’s amazing. Keep up the great service.

1st visit to Patsy's in New Castle. It didn't disappoint. I had shrimp and asparagus over angel hair, hubby had cavetelli with red sauce and meatballs. We both got a large salad with our meals and bread. We had enough for dinner the next day!. Place was clean and service was good. Good variety on their menu. Stop in and check them out.
