Starwood Restaurant — Restaurant in New Castle

I give 2 stars because the lady that served us was nice and she was fast. I’m not sure if the people on here that ate the food never had anything with seasoning or were just hammered when they ate here. I had a New York strip steak at market price, $26.99. Medium rare. Cooked correctly. However cold, it looked like it was cooked on a flattop grille. And it had literally no seasoning. I cut it up and put it in the chili I had so I could eat it because I’ve worked in this industry and I don’t like to complain about food and send stuff back etc. my girlfriend had a lamb salad. The lamb was the same. Absolutely no seasoning or flavor to it and cold. Her son had a chicken salad, and asked for no peppers or mushrooms, he asked if the onions were cooked or raw, she said raw, he eats those, it came out with cooked peppers, mushrooms and onions. They need a new cook. That was insanely bad for a 27 dollar...

Starwood Restaurant in New Castle PA is where I go locally when I want prime rib. Call first, but Sundays, oh man is it good. Great dining room. Reminds me of The Brown Derby. Service is always good. There is a front of house bar with nice dining area going on as well. Hey, they also have great hoagies. A very very good Philly Cheese. French dip. Starwood is a great go-to for meeting friends and family. I have no reservations about saying you will have a great lunch or dinner there.

Warning to all, unless you have 4 or 5 people with you.. donot order this delicious straw berry short cake it is really really BIG.Every now and then you just have to have a good burger with big fries. Dont mean to post so soon again but I just had the fish and chips and I thought I was in an Irish pub it was that good.Wow ,this is really really good. I would put this braised short rib up against any from the burg or philly anytime .Still one of the jewels in town and still going strong.
