My brother and I found our way to the swinging bridge restaurant a few weeks back. My younger brother had passed away and we were going for a ride and we ended up further than we had planned so I said let's just go to the swinging bridge restaurant. The place is well kept outside the inside is unique and different ways. Took a picture of my brother beside the buffalo because we both share interest in cowboy and Indians. There was just one other customer in the restaurant So it was very peaceful. We look forward to our food. Spoiler alert. My sweet potato fries literally came burnt. And the Buffalo Burger was small the bun was like some cheap bun you would get at a dollar store. The way towards was super. She immediately did get some more fries for me. But we should not have even been served burnt fries. My brother had the hot dog which he said was awesome. We left with two pieces of pecan pie. When I was taking home to my husband. What a disappointment. We paid over $7 each for two pieces of pie that were ridiculously small for the money. Not even any whipped topping or anything on top. I'm requesting if the manager reads this please respond to me and give me half my money back. We only paid the price for the Buffalo burgers is a treat and memory of our brother of we lost. Just trying to make the day special. And we left so disappointed. It's such a nice place. If you the manager or reading this you should up your game when it comes to your restaurant. Don't let these bad reviews ruin your business and have people talk about you like we have had to. Because I do not plan to come back and I will not recommend it. But you should get your staff in line and say this is unacceptable. Respond to each post and apologize. Have good customer service if not anything else. Because you have a very unique destination for travelers. I look forward to hearing from you.Katherine,...
Read moreTo start off with it was a 45 minute wait, to be expected in a what was supposed to be a very nice restaurant for my Birthday dinner. I had never been there before and refuse to go back again. Our waitress took our drink order and we ordered appetizers and we got those, no napkins or silverware nor straws was given, I got those myself at the server station. A whole hour passed and our waitress hadn't taken our dinner order! When we got her attention and asked when was she taking our order she stated" you have already ordered," My mom said no, you never came back after our appetizers. By this time we where very hungry and very angry with the service. It was busy but, service was failing badly. When we were given the opportunity to order dinner we were like okay, but then the waitress had already told my mom they were out of the "SUNDAY SPECIAL"...Fried chicken so she chose meatloaf. Next time we seen a waitress they tried to give us someone else's food which included the "out of SUNDAY SPECIAL FRIED CHICKEN my mom originally ordered!!! The waitress asked if we wanted to see the manager I said yes definitely. In fifteen minutes he comes around with two meals both of which was cold!! My dad ordered Buffalo chili and cornbread but didn't get that until I asked the manager about his cornbread. We wasn't even offered dessert which I had thought about since it was my birthday, but after the disaster we had already been through I opted out of ASKING for anything else. We will not be back even though it was beautiful there. The Swinging Bridge Restaurant in Paint bank was HIGHLY OVER PRICED AND OVER RATED. The manager did, however give us a discount but in my opinion all of our meals should've been written off. I was not planning on writing this because I was expecting so...

We made Father’s Day plans and our two parties each drove from about an hour and 30 minutes in each direction to meet here for dinner.
Our server, who was the only genuine highlight of the entire meal, greeted us and immediately told us that about 50% of the menu wasn’t available.
We came for the unique food that they have here and were told that over half the sandwiches were not available as well as the buffalo chili, the buffalo chopped steak, and multiple other dinner entrees. Thankfully if we wanted to pay $45 for the special buffalo New York strip, that was an option.
Everything that we were served registered as low end diner food with no heart, no salt, and no effort put into it. The meatloaf was clearly days old and reheated, as it was as dry as possible, and essentially the texture of a hockey puck. The fries were completely devoid of salt, the buffalo pulled barbecue tasted like the cheapest frozen barbecue option available at Walmart.
Genuinely shocking level of disappointment for a place that has been recognized for so long as a unique and interesting place to eat. We were informed that new management has decided to alter the menu, make certain things not available on certain days, and operate a “winter menu” during the month of June. If you’re going to make changes like this, they should be public and known because your restaurant is an hour from anything and people are driving to the destination, and you are not delivering on the promises of your menu and your website.
Also, I am someone who will gladly spend money on food, but the prices compared to the quality of what we were served is laughable and unacceptable.
$17 for a kids cheeseburger and fries and drink is...
